Hi I have truly no clue what I’m doing for the most part so sorry about that. But I’m gonna do my best to share what my headcanons and thoughts about demigods are because I feel like sometimes we don’t take advantage of the fact they were technically their own species enough since they are literally a branch between the divine and mortal and yet they usually lean to one side or the other and I feel it’s would be neat to explore them being a balance and their own species too (bear with me this is mainly PJO but sometimes I lean more to actually mythology but not often) and plus their relationships with their godly half sibling stepparents and then some and the gods thoughts on their shockingly fragile short lived kiddos, asks very much welcome please ask away

so you know how Luke is hot. like canonically. yeah? well here's my headcanon: he isn't just hot, he's the hottest. like, Adonis hot. Helen of Sparta hot. Apollo-and-Aphrodite-almost-got-in-a-fistfight-over-him hot. I mean, this isn't completely unfounded. in the books, people do things for him/pay extra attention to him just because of his looks (Silena, Juniper), everyone at camp had a crush on him, Percy mistakes Apollo (one of the hottest gods, supposedly) for him. he has Kelli the empousa basically begging to fuck him. cmon guys, see my vision

So I love spooky things year round as many on this app do and while scrolling scare actor posts I had a fun idea for a not so touched on character in Percy Jackson so I think it would be fun to introduce the idea of Clovis, despite being compared to as a baby cow and thus being seen as cute and soft and sweet, being a total nut for spooky stuff and leaning more into the Chthonic side of the family and even being a sand man themed scare actor at a haunt, even a year round haunt, since in older lore, at least the ones I’ve heard, the sandman would steal the eyes of people who wouldn’t sleep so I think that would be a fun scare actor character especially for him plus it would be a fun way to incorporate some Chthonic stuff into a character that doesn’t have much but certainly could wear it very well

Au where instead of giving into great grandpa and becoming a husk like puppet of his former self like instead takes note from his older furry brother and his dad and takes some pipes and much like his father did the cows he just calmly plays camp songs leading the easily distracted adhd campers out of camp all the way to Alaska out of the gods reach who give him the nickname the pied piper and are hunting down their children having no idea it was all thanks to a most like grouchy and also probably high pretty boy son of Hermes who is holding their children hostage with a flute of all things and the kids are having a great time playing cryptids and hunting wild in Alaska where honestly their wild animalistic sides are getting some good enrichment while their parents both loose their shit and get their shit back together

He lived there his entire life, even if he didn't actually live that average boston joe life (due to his mom doing everything she could to keep him safe half raising him in nature eueue) there is no way his speech wasn't influenced by his home. If he didn't pick it up during his time with his mother he definitely picked it up during his homeless years.

(That makes me wonder tho. You think Blitz or any of his other friends picked the accent/ speech mannerisms a little after hanging around him too long or nah?)

4) something that would absolutely piss off the character

Ethan nakamura has the most gorgeous heart breaking adorable big brown puppy eyes you’ve ever seen even when he is brimming with righteous rage and the thirst for justice and revenge and part, key word part, of the reason his mom asked for his eye was because she was trying to make her son more intimidating but it backfired and now he looked even more like a beaten pretty little puppy but on the plus side he can now manipulate someone just as easily as the Aphrodite kids just by pouting…that is if he shoved away his pride and rage

Hc that’s been buzzing in my brain

Premortals were kinda just parts of existing in their own right so when Gaia started creating different things they kinda found out what they were on their own and discovered they liked snacking on flowers

Titans actually were closer to the earth itself and being one with nature due to their mother and so preferred pollen more than nectar, although who’s to say how they do this…mayhaps eating the stamens

Gods as we know drink nectar (and whatever non Midwest ambrosia is) and of course the sugary stuff invited ‘pollinators’, I.e. their many lovers, but again who knows how (they’re gods seriously who knows)

And what comes from our most popular pollinator? That being Bees, meaning mortals, that’s right…honey which demigods in my opinion go absolutely bonkers for they love that sugary shit so much that across every century of demigod history it is seen as perfectly normal to just go up to a hive, much like bears they can and will do this, and just start swiping up and pawing that shit into their mouths because it’s yummy and they can and their parents find it ‘fascinating’, ¿¿¿possibly cute???…to the point of there’s suddenly in influx of empty hives brimming with honey who’s the demigod to question this lovely happenstance while they’re headfirst in a hive like a grizzly

Hc demigods are a lot more animalistic then even they realize and had their parents actually parented them they would’ve known just how much nature and their sacred animals and nonhuman nature actually affects them namely things like demigods all having sharper than normal canines (actually literal godly fangs but they’re just small and almost baby teeth compared to their full divine relatives) or teeth that regrow even after they lost their first baby teeth because even though they can’t regenerate like gods small things like teeth are easy for the trace amounts of ichor in them which shows as a golden shimmer in their ruby like blood compared to the flat crimson of human blood and honestly my favorite part of the head cannon is that if the gods actually spent more than ten seconds with their kids in their lifetime the animal parts of them would go full mama bear, like broody swan Apollo or herd protector Hermes and Poseidon, and the best of the best if the gods started to actually be involved in their kids lives and do something they’re used to doing to younger siblings or other young gods and they instinctively scruff the demigod, who is rightfully panicked and offended when they’re snatched by the neck by a literal god, who goes limp and they don’t even understand why or what’s happening while the god is confused why the calm down scruffing isn’t working on this tiny shrieking mini them who seems more upset at their usual, for gods at least, parenting skills/lack their of, and are now both very ?!?? About the scruffing ordeal

I love all of these. The angel of the the deep's wings are canvas, held up by an anchor. The angel of war's wings are blades, and its shield is a coffin. The angel of solace is a mutant, its arms deforming into wings. Geiger counter in hand, it guides us through the danger only it knows. Was this angel once a man? Corrupted now beyond hope, he can at least save others from the same fate.
