And every single Republican in Congress that voted against this infrastructure bill went back to their home states and took credit for the reduced amount of money that ultimately filtered down.

"Were you thinking of a specific amount of time? Time of day?"
"Anything," Alex says. "I would like something more than a quickie, but if that's what we can get…" She shrugs.
They have managed a few quickies over the past few weeks, orgasms rushed out while Sofia naps, or before one of them falls asleep after a long day, but nothing more.
They both really want more.

Please Help me and my Mom get through May
Hi again, it's me, Casi, once again asking for help to get through the month.
Basic background info: I'm a disabled enby who is the sole caregiver for my elderly disabled mother and We are Homeless. The area where we live is being gentrified to all hell and its made it near impossible to find affordable housing. We're staying in a hotel because its the safest option we have.
At this point we have the room paid for until Saturday the 23rd
Moms SSI is our only stable income, though I have Redbubble and Ko-Fi shops where I sell my art and I am looking for other work but being chronically ill and disabled makes it difficult.
Mom doesn't get paid again until the 1st and we have 9 days left of the month to get through until then. Literally any amount of help would be incredibly appreciated.
The room is $72 a night / $556 a week / $716 for 9 days.

Democrats, are you taking notes? This is how you get shit done.
Fandom is weird now. It’s becoming less trusting and friendly, and the Orwellian surveillance issues that are currently running rampant in the USA and UK have bled over into fandom spaces.
I’d read the articles that young people have no privacy and have become so accustomed to it that they enact on themselves. Abstractly I knew this and had accepted it, but it’s only now that I’m seeing it become a major issues.
Obviously part of the problem is I need to become a trusted member of my new fandom. But fandom in general is becoming far more hostile to privacy than even just 5 years ago.
I’ve had to leave 3 servers that want to do age verification. And this is new. Not even 5 years ago when I started zines ppl just turning 18-20 were far more receptive to the ideas espoused by us older folks about not being surveilled. But now it almost feels like they *want* to be surveilled.
They’ve become so used to it from tiktok and their government that they crave it. I’d write a dystopia about it but unfortunately what even is there to say that hasn’t already been said?
If you’re 18-22 now and you’re reading this and willing to listen without immediately calling me suspicious: this is not normal. Age verification will not keep you safe and will not keep minors safe either. It will only lead to the normalization of further surveillance and erosion of your privacy.
I know it can be an unwieldy text especially if you’re not used to reading academic sources, but go read The Panopticon. Watch V for Vendetta or read the comic, read 1984. Watch The Lives of Others and understand the ways this modern era is not so different from the Stasi in the film.
Please.
I don’t want to see a rerun of the surveillance state anymore.
what if we admitted to each other that it's not always really romance that we want. What if we admitted that what we're really craving is intimacy and society taught us romance is the only way to get it.
This is not a photo from the civil rights era. This is Tennessee yesterday May 7, 2026.
This is the vision of America the GOP and Republicans want.

Hey will there be a Christmas in July this year?
Yes, there will be! I’m just very bad at remembering that time passes and work has been A Mess lately, so I’m a little behind. But I have today free and will work on getting everything set up, so feel free to poke any Supercat writers (politely!!) to see if they’re interested this year.

An important tweet
This is such a "common sense" way of putting it. Everybody memorize this for spitting it back out whenever needed.
Never thought I'd have the opportunity to say this again: Reducing women and girls to their vaginas and then forcing them to show those vaginas to strangers is not a feminist ideal.
Not shaving and not wearing make up are literally nonbehaviors. They’re a complete lack of action. But doing nothing is considered masculine because women are not allowed to just be. this goes double for trans women.
reblog this version because transmisogynists don’t know how to fuck off.

Hi I'm Casi, I'm a disabled enby who is the only caregiver for my elderly disabled mother and we are Homeless.
We're staying in a Hotel because its really the only safe option we have. We have no family or friends who could put us up even for a night and we dont even have a car to live in.
Moms SSI and SSDI are our only stable income apart from donations and the small income I make from my art. I've been seeking further employment but there are more people than jobs in this town and without the ability to commute....
Mom has had rheumatoid arthritis since she was 13 and has chronic bronchitis. I've also got arthritis and asthma and an autoimmune disorder and HS which has been flaring painfully recently.
It was over 100°f four days this past week and it's only going to get hotter. We need to be safely in out of the elements.
We have our room securely reserved and paid for until Friday but its Spring Break Season and we're an "affordable" tourist destination so the hotels are booking up fast. We lost our room on Saturday and had a whole scary difficult situation of scrambling to find another room and getting all of our belongings from place to place. I would really like to not have to do that again anytime soon.
The room is $79 a night, I think itll be around $600 for a Week, not really sure what the taxes and fees all come out to...
Reblogs are greatly appreciated. The more people who see this the more likely someone who can afford to help will see this. Please know that literally any amount of support would be incredibly appreciated. Every little bit of help adds up.

Update Tuesday April 14th: we have the room paid for until Friday the 17th and I had to make a Reservation for the Weekend so we didn't loose our room because of a certain music festival that we're relatively close to so I'm supposed to pay $240 on Friday for the weekend. Also there's been some hiccup with our SNAP benefits this month so until we're able to actually get ahold of our Worker and get it sorted I'm having to pay for food out of our donations too. I'd like to be able to pay for a whole week on Friday [$557+taxes and fees that fluctuate] but just covering the reservation would be great too.
