PSA: IF YOU LIVE IN ENGLAND PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE

Some of you may have heard about the UK Cat Killer, some sick fuck who has killed and mutilated over 300 cats and other animals such as pet rabbits and wild foxes over the past 3-4 years.

Recently there have been an influx of more killings especially around the South Eastern area, including Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, Berkshire, etc, where the animals have been mutilated and either returned to their owner or left on footpaths and sidewalks where kids regularly walk to school. School children have been finding theses horribly mutilated animals. Most recently, however, on Monday a lady’s cat was found beheaded and splayed out in a star shape beneath her bedroom window in the morning about 2 minutes away from where I live, my mum works at a vets and was visited by Scotland yard police who advised everyone who lives in the area to keep their pets in at all times if possible. Especially at night.

So, since Tumblr is so American-centric, I thought I’d write a little PSA telling people who live in the UK to please keep your pets in at night, and if possible, during the day.

In addition be careful of yourselves and your children. This person has been violent towards animals for a while, it would not be unusual if they escalated to targeting people.

Starting on animals and escalating to people is a well recognized pattern with violent crime in general. This is a concern beyond the welfare of cats - even a deer is possibly linked to this case- vulnerable members of society are also at risk. That includes children, the elderly who live alone, many of whom will have cats for companions, and the homeless.

Keep your animals inside. Cats are an easy target because they leave the yard, but it sounds like any opportunity is fair game. Keep an eye on kids, on the sick or elderly, and try to stay in groups. Take photos of things that are weird, including number plates. This has gone on for a very long time.

Shady’s Medical Fund

Hey guys, Jeli here.

So I’ve been thinking over things and decided I need a bit of help. As you all know, Shady’s got what seems to be early onset diabetes. We’ve put her on a specialty diabetic food to see if that will control it, but there’s the issue.

The food’s expensive.

So I’ve set up a GoFundMe for Shady, with a small goal and honestly, its nothing urgent. I’m worried I won’t be able to afford her food until school’s done and I can get back to work, so hopefully this will help.

I also plan on using the money to get proper check ups and run more tests to get a definitive diagnosis, as well as hopefully having money set aside in case anything happens.

◤(un)popular opinion; i’m not really a fan of muses who pull the ‘i’m not afraid of you, lol’ card with dangerous or powerful muses when they are being threatening ( or even if they appear humble or cute but are full of power ). if it wasn’t for being called god modding, i’m 700% sure these more powerful muses would have, could have, should have killed another muse if they persistently irritate them. especially if the offending character is a run of the mill human. unless your muse has dealt with similar monsters/menacing personalities/dangerous situations - try not to antagonize deadly muses to the point of obvious rage knowing the writer can’t really write them killing your muse even though that is completely in their nature to do so.
