I figure if you’re gonna make a pedal board, why not do it with some style?

Just got my stainless steel Compton bridge with tone chamber! The wood part of the bridge was not mating up flush, so I had to reshape it. Took about an hour with some 150 grit sandpaper, but the tone is so much clearer! Love my Gretsch even more now!
Old busted cymbal + old Fender neck = new resonator guitar!
Finally finished the loft! Bed on top, shop on bottom. Just in time to start building the new sets for Sanpomichi.
The shop. Making a stop motion movie full of tiny things takes a lot more space than I expected! At least I have room to tinker.
Just got back from Japan. This pic was taken at Super Potato in Akihabra, Tokyo. 4 stories of classic video games and systems with every system you can imagine, all at very reasonable prices. Picked up a PC Engine system for about $35. If you ever travel to Japan, go here!

What are you using your raspberry pi in the super cool case for? (I'm looking for ideas for what to do with my own and I keep drawing a blank.)
I am using my pi as a media center. I have an external hard drive connected to one of the USB ports full of movies, TV shows, and music. One of my future projects is to house the hard drive inside an old book so that the computer can sit on top of it. You can also plug in thumb drives full of music or films/shows and watch them. The software is called Raspbmc, a rapberry pi version of the Xbox media center operating system. You will find it readily available if you Google raspbmc (its shareware).
There is also a conventional version of Linux you can run on the pi called RASPBIAN WEEZY. It has a basic desktop operating system, so you can get most of the normal Linux applications. Thanks for the question!
Sanpomichi stop motion project
Hell yes!! Reached our goal on kickstarter with 4 days left! Sanpomichi is a go!
Here is the trailer for a stop motion film i have been working on. Tokyo native, Mari Ichimasu, is writing/directing/animating. Brody Davis is director of photography. I (Tony Fantozzi) wrote, played and recorded the music. Brianna Larson is Producing. We have 5 days left to reach our goal on kickstarter. Take a look and let me know what you think. Enjoy!

Was doing some mobile recording for a bluegrass band in a motel in the South end of Seattle, when my laptop fan gave up the ghost! In a mad panic to dump all the tracks onto an external hard drive, I connected a keyboard, mouse, and external monitor and put the laptop in the freezer! Worked so well, that i not only got the tracks backed up, we continued to record for three more days like this! Mac Guyver would be proud!
Recording made with my homemade upright cardboard box bass. The bass was recorded live with an Audix D6 kick drum mic. I also played keys and programed the drums myself in Cubase 5.
Here is my latest project. A cardboard box bass fiddle. My bluegrass band had a real upright bass that belonged to our mandolin player’s girlfriend. Well…..they broke up and she took it back, so now instead of spending $3000 on a mediocre upright, i am prototyping to eventually build my own. This box bass cost about $10 to make and actually sounds pretty good. Material list includes: Cardboard box(bigger the better), 6’ 1x2, screws and weed whacker cord. I first used some bolts at tuners, then found some old tuning pegs off of an old guitar in my closet. Currently i am fishing the fretboard and will have it glued on in a few days. My next post will have an audio clip of the bass in action!
Raspberry Pi Model B build: Running Ras PI version of XBMC. USB block has 3 powered ports on the outside and two on the inside with a wifi adapter and blue tooth receiver in the block. The BT receiver is for a hand held wireless keyboard with built in mouse pad.
