lestat going crazy from isolation only a few years before meeting louis is. fucking hilarious in hindsight. now we get to watch s1ep1 and b like ohhhh. thats why hes like that
the most beautiful thing about episode 6 to me is that it's by far the calmest lestat's narration has been the entire season: no skipping around, no "but I'm getting ahead of myself" *winds back*, no screaming muses, no flashbacks, just one night being told linearly from start to finish, even lestat's literal panic attack didn't focus on all the ways he was spiralling but on Louis and his reaction , "in the middle of my own fracturing" yet for the first time the cracks don't appear
despite everything, Louis calms lestat down, Louis is his anchor and I'm so so normal about that
We, as a society, need to start simping on Dr Fareed Bhansali harder
i didn’t know perez hilton was a stage name that he purposefully modelled after paris hilton’s real name i thought she just organically had an evil gay wario or something
i must say, i am a huge fan of when a book is in the middle of a very exciting plot containing many interesting problems when out of nowhere for a few pages it's like, "hey by the way, real quick, here's a detailed explanation of the city's water filtration system! i'm telling you this for a reason and you should worry about it. anyway! haha okay back to the plot" and you just get to be Scared for a while
i am kissing you on the mouth right now
you are the only person who understands me. you and the person who tagged a series of unfortunate events
abandon shame. theres more interesting emotions to be felt
unless its getting you off. in that case keep going
Armand looking gorgeous in the finale
I watched the final episode of The Vampire Lestat and this season is a masterpiece, it is made with so much love and care that I am genuinely baffled to see it get hate, is there another version of the show you guys are seeing because this is a work of art
Some of you are too dumb to watch tvl I am taking it away from you and putting it on a shelf out of reach until you complete media literacy 101
INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE (2022-) | S03E04
with the whole séance scene and the park bench scene right after, it just goes to show that loustat didn't really care about claudia as her own vampire self but rather loved her as an extension of themselves. louis bringing up him killing bruce as if that would mean anything to her even though it wasn't even for her, it was to fix his own guilt that he has regarding her. like claudia said during the trial, it's never been about her. lestat wanted to say justice for antoinette, justice for claudia tf 🫤??? her rage was completely justified, especially since it's clear that she hasn't found the peace that she rightfully deserves
claudia got to tell her awful fucking fathers she hates them and even their grief isn't actually about her and then daniel and armand cut their heads off TOGETHER?? after "i'm seeing someone"??? i just did fifty fucking lines of cocaine
ofc people are already balking at claudia telling louis she hates him and purposefully manipulated him as if that is not biblically accurate claudia. or complaining she gave the most anger to louis and not lestat like? did she not already have her moment? did she not already murder the man??? ofc she's gonna hone in on the one she never got to fully unmask with. ofc she, stuck in the afterlife fresh from finding out the truth of her turning and being right about armand, is going to want to give louis all the anger she had repressed for so long. it's not ooc, some of y'all just never let go of the preconceived notions you had from falling for the facade and narratives you were supposed to deconstruct
I just gotta say that I absolutely adore the fact that we get loustat episode but at the price of Having to acknowledge what they did to claudia and for it to be spelled out in OUR faces and in THEIR faces finally was just Wow. you could never have loustat as they are without claudia so im glad they decided to do that scene with them together
