When monsters appeared many major issues emerged. You can't fix them all, but when you made quick friends with Sans and Papyrus while desperate to get out of a shitty situation, you helped them with their lack of a credit score and zero rental experience. A little three bedroom two bath that became a little slice of home for a good few years.

And then there was suddenly a far sharper version of the two that Sans pulled from some machine he apparently just had for some reason. And then a weirdly flipped par a month later. Yet another month has passed and turns out another addition happened while you were at work.

No matter how horrible the newest two are, you do your best to grit your teeth an bare it. Not like your the one most effect by this.

the hard part about writing people in crisis is that everyone is hyper emotional, so they're snapping and reacting strongly even to little things. which is an issue when I like to make their eye lights emote with strong emotions.

Cause like, he's pissed, he's completely fucking devastated, he's so stressed out that he's literally becoming ill as we speak, he's hyper vigilant as a motherfucker right now. Like none of these guys are feeling anything resembling normal right now but now it feels like I'm talking about their eye lights every five god damn seconds and it's not because I want to give them the cartoon hyper expressive eye lights that respond to every little thing. They don't normally respond this much I swear!

Plot twist, Papyrus stumbles upon (maybe with Frisk’s help) on the music of some of the rock/metal artists he has shirts for and actually likes the music, or at least some of it.

Here for Papyrus and Frisk going absolutely bonkers at a hard rock concert. (W/Toriel as the disinterested but supportive chaperone.)

Please take this moment though to consider how much of a ROCK GOD Papyrus would be at any metal venue.

Okay so, I just had like a pretty fuckin horrific thing happen to my family that's pretty much killed my ability to write dead in the water. I am taking a creative writing class that requires me to write thirty minutes a day though, so i'm having to force myself write anyway. And the only thing that is working is writing through sheer fucking spite. So like i'm going to get back to How to Make and Artificial Companion once I'm in a better headspace, but until then I'm writing a reverse harem fic for a little bit I guess. It's literally the only thing I can think of actually sitting down and writing. No promise on completion and i'm stressing way less on quality since i'm mostly here for the vibes and catharsis rn.

I'm finally getting into the parts I've been super excited to write and it's not going in the expected direction at all. Like not in a bad way, I think this is actually better than i originally planned. Everything just seems to turn out so much meaner as i write things out compared to my plot line.

"did you really think you could get away from me?"

You stand there frozen, mouth agape. Your arm might have been trembling if it weren't for his massive hand circling your wrist. It's firm, just shy of painful. You hadn't thought he was that massive before, but at this moment, you felt alarmingly small.

His bones felt more like steal. Your body felt as secure as cotton stuffing. He could tear through you so easily. The fact he hasn't yet so easily could felt intentional. Very very intentional. He's not letting you go.

"H-Horror-"

"you aren't very good at this," his voice is rough, not angry, more so amused. Like this was a game. His eye glows something fierce, and it's like an oppressive force that grows heavier on your chest. To some extent, this is still him. He's aware. He's thinking. He's a brute handling you with a tenderness reserved for you.

Yet you only see red, that single dot capturing every little reaction and tremble. You are adored in his eyes. But you are also prey. His prey. It's an overwhelmingly frightening realization.

"even if you weren't runnin' 'round with your feet making the loudest little thumps-" he chuckles, it's really more of a low, deeply amused rumble, pulling you close. His entire body cages your form. You can't escape. You don't even try to. "you got the most distinct smell on ya."

"Horror..." it's a surrender, a reluctant one. You can't fight him. You don't want to. He's not hurting you, his grip is deliberate. It makes it so much better yet so much worse at the same time.

He nuzzles into the crook of your neck, taking a painfully long inhale of you and something like a purr erupts from him. As if you're being smothered by the most affectionate lion, the comparison settles in deeper as he rubs his face right under your ear.

This time, he growls, "it's like ya like bein' prey."

Your face feels hot. You can't tell if it's from his words or how he engulfed your entire body with his heat. You struggle to want to escape, at best you attempt at limp wiggle, but Horror corrects with barely any added pressure.

The message is clear. You stay here. You belong here. You can't run. He caught you. He'll catch you again.

"and good prey 's easy to catch," the timing almost scares you. It's like he could read your thoughts. You tremble whether with fear or something else you can't tell, he doesn't give you any more warning before sinking his teeth into your shoulder. Not drawing blood- leaving a mark..

i think i've finally got my proper word count for how long i like to write fics figure out. about 3,000 is a good sweet spot for me. i've i've hit 2,000 it typically means I breezed through something to fast, but if I'm pushing 4,000 then there is some definite fat I need to cut.

it's nice to finally be writing enough again to actually get a feel for what my own style and habits are
