Why can't life be simple?

I honestly don't understand how one minute everything in your life can seem perfect and you can't see anything negative at all and then all of a sudden........ *BOOM* Then who thing is flipped upside down and you've suddenly lost the ability to cope with everything that life is trying to throw at you........ And I think that can sometimes hurt more than the problems, the sudden realisation that you're not always strong enough to cope with your own problems....... For me that's like a punch in the stomach, it knocks me down and it takes a while to be able to climb back up onto my feet and say "you know what? Even if I can't beat it, I'm gonna go down fighting!"
