Death and destruction are easy as hell. Do you know how fucking easy it is to kill someone? To blow up a building? Sure security is in the way but if it wasn't there it would be easy as hell.

You'd do the basics sure. But would you do the hard thing and save the world because I asked you to?

Would you push aside your hatred of everyone but me because I asked you to nicely?

it kind of just occurred to me how funny it is that on their second meeting lex looked clark in the eye and said “we have a future and i don’t want anything to stand in the way of our friendship” and clark just went yeah okay sounds good to me and then this man proceeded to get too involved in his love life and tried to give his family money on multiple occasions and hired lawyers to get his farm back and harbored and got medical attention for a fugitive because clark asked and told him their friendship was gonna be the stuff of legends and tied his tie and shot a man to save his dad’s life and hid a minor in his home that clark legally kidnapped and got the necessary restraining order to keep said minor safe and dropped an absurd amount of money on bail bc clark asked and gave him access to caves that the linguist he hired said no one could have access to and asked to live with him when he lost everything instead of with his girlfriend and made him his best man (twice) and came back from the dead and said “three months on a deserted island was almost worth it just to see the look on your face” and bought the deed to his family’s farm so it wouldn’t foreclose and asked for nothing in return except to be a part of the family and came straight to clark when he was going out of his mind and under attack and needed a place to hide and kept his secret for a month while in a mental institution and screamed that clark was taken when he himself was literally being dragged to have his brain fried and let clark steal his car and return it and never called him out on it and pulled him out of a tank that was killing clark even tho he sold him out to his evil abusive father and threw him a surprise party

and clark really walked into a room that was essentially a shrine to him and had the audacity to be shocked

Without risking having to hand over my woke card, I think the Argentine right's obsession with the Falklands and the banner incident at the end of the match are pathetic displays of fascism and the symptom of capitalism failing in Argentina. This does not mean we should wish ill on them. This does not mean we should bring out the old banners from 1982. Been entertaining the concept of Luke joining the Titans and Percy taking this really, really personally. He's like, crazy obsessive about it.

There's something to be explored with Percy fighting Kronos not just for the war stuff but also specifically coz he "stole" Luke from him and Percy wants him back goddamit

Luke only catches on when Percy makes him his warprize, sees that look in his eyes and knows.

The realization that Kronos was the side-quest, a mere obstacle. Percy's goal has always been to get Luke all to himself, just together forever, like that first summer at CHB.

In the original storyline the symbiote actually coincided with him becoming a much more relaxed and amicable person. The parts that people remember as Symbiote Spidey moments where he gets angry are all with the cloth black suit.

Yeah I feel like over time the original symbiote arc (in amazing spider-man #252) got sort of warped by different depictions. Like I remember Peter being a lot more chill than people think.

I feel like the most negative side effect Peter seemed to suffer was the symbiote taking him out for joyrides at night and physically wearing him out. The symbiote wasn't deliberately malicious or anything, it probably just didn't really understand what it was doing was wrong

I honestly think that if Reed didn't freak Peter out by telling him the symbiote was alive and try to remove it, they could have worked things out. Reed almost drove symby to try to stick itself to Peter permanently out of desperation!! It wasn't trying to hurt Peter, it was just trying to stay alive, y'know?

And not to mention the Web of Spider-Man arc where symby tries to rebond with Peter and then ends up saving his life from that bell!!

Symby was fully in love with Peter at this point and no one can convince me otherwise. That's why it took their breakup so hard
