The Hollow of Night
Supporting the show could get you a digital spell book of all the spells you’ll see in the show! There are 38 total!!
About the Show: Fallen Memories is a cozy magic story and a love letter to autumn. It’s an audio drama about two students at a magic academy
Fun little detail about the spell book: my childhood friend Rif is the one who did all the artwork! She’s a delight and this was a really fun project to work on together 🥰
July is disability pride month!
Consider giving a shout-out or otherwise showing some appreciation for your favourite disabled fiction podcast characters, creators, and/or crew.
This is also an open invitation for creators and listeners alike to tell me about their beloved shows on this post (or in my asks if you're shy). I am perpetually curious and also enjoy seeing people celebrate the things they care about.
Replying on my personal blog, but I'm a disabled podcaster and founder of @podcast-bookclub , an online Discord community for audio fiction ! + run many related podcast events every year. I also write many disabled characters in my stories: Ben of @knightfallpod is a ambulatory wheelchair/crutch user with chronic pain (I also voice him!:)), & I produce @spacespeckspod, in which Nora is an amputee, and uses a cane. Everyone tell more disabled stories!!!

My actual play podcast @hopeshearthpod has multiple disabled characters on it to the point where I think it'd be easier to tell you what characters AREN'T disabled. The cast is also made up of multiple disabled players (myself included). Disability is something we talk about and go into frequently as a choice and on purpose because it's something we want to explore about ourselves.
So if you like sci-fantasy space podcasts with magic and aliens and space pirates, then you'll like Hope's Hearth!
I also make @scpresearcharchives, an SCP improv comedy horror podcast. Bertram has an anomalous disability, but they also get migraines and suffers from insomnia. If you like SCP podcasts that do a little bit more than just read the articles, then you'll like mine!
And finally I am the co-host of @abbeyarchives, a Redwall reread and analysis podcast. We talk about disability on the show a lot because the author wrote a lot of disabled characters or characters we in modern times would consider disabled. It's not the focus of the show, the focus is reading a series we both loved as kids and remembering what we love about it and what we feel has aged poorly in the modern era.

Rocky meets Eva Stratt, what could go wrong ❤️
Episode 2 guest stars the wonderful James Ross and Jen Rowe.
Let them know how much you loved them and we'd love to see your fan art of Jeremy and Tramponius Huff.
I can always tell when a phm fic is written by someone who hasn't yet read the book -- which is totally fine btw! There are just some details that always stand out to me as being different, is all.
Like the fact Eridians are water based lifeforms. They use superheated water to power their inorganic 'muscles.' (Grace internally comments on them basically being steam powered.) They need water in their diet to replenish the steam list via their vents, but it comes exclusively from their food.
Erid also has oceans! Due to the extreme atmospheric pressure and heat, the boiling point of water is higher than Erid's surface temperature -- meaning Erid has very hot bodies of liquid water. This was how they managed to produce an absolute shit ton of astrophage btw, by using the oceans' ambient heat. So eridians know about water and oceans and beaches before Grace, but probably not about snow and ice. (I'll have to look up the triple point of water at 29atm.)
Anyway. I'm now picturing a small pause after the conversation about oceans and beaches and Adrian in the DGCR and Rocky just being like. Erid have oceans, btw. Big big beach by major city Rocky and Adrian lived in while helping build Blip-A. And Grace just flailing a bit because "what the heck, Rocky, why'd you let me go on about beaches like that, then?" And Rocky saying, because rocky like when Grace talk about things he likes on Earth. Like hearing Grace happy. Happy when talking about beaches and water.

I am now casting for my audio drama, The Weavers! There are 9 roles available, all of them paid.
The Weavers are not your usual crafters. These people belong to a secret international order that uses their mystical crafting abilities to fight supernatural evil. Listen as this Minnesotan branch of Weavers battle a rising force that could blanket the world in darkness. The Weavers is a supernatural action audio drama with a Minnesota twist.
This casting call is for all of season 1. There are 9 roles available: 5 main characters, and 4 minor characters. Each character has their own tab in this document, with description and lines.
This is a paid production, personally funded by me, and I am paying what I am able.
Instructions, roles, and lines are on this Google Doc.
Auditions are due by July 19, 2026.

Genuinely thank y’all so much.
Being Perceived makes me want to throw up… but my colleagues deserve their recognition as well, so here’s a clip of the ceremony (44:15)
I think almost all of it was prerecorded, so forgive the overly-rehearsed awkwardness…
