We wanted to to give you all some examples of what the toys will look like. Here is an example of our creative development process. For our Kickstarter we will have three themes to show off. The themes will be: Two Set Basic Theme, Single Set Holiday Theme, and Single Set Basic Theme. The Day of the Dead Cat will fall under the Single Holiday Theme. For this idea we really wanted to work with bright colors but within limits. No colors that were too dark nor did we wish to tamper with neon colors. While coming up with the design we wanted to focus on a ghost-like appearance, keeping the cat flexible in a sense. We felt that short hair would do no justice, so long fluffy fur seemed like the better option.
The designs needed to have bones, but if we tried to fit the whole skeleton on there things wouldn’t play out so smoothly. So in the end it had to be simplified.
