I guess just existing while pregnant is considered "Mature Content" now? Or is it because I'm a trans guy? Thanks Tumblr
Surprise, I'm a seahorse dad! :) I made the announcement to some friends by joking that I'm IRL mpreg Bucky, so I knew what I wanted to cosplay at Megacon immediately haha. I might try to take some more fun maternity cosplay pics later!
I haven't posted anything in a long time, but I have recently gotten back into drawing and writing, and drew this for my partner! I heavily used a reference for this one, but I'm really proud of how it came out.
We have an ongoing Stucky RP where Bucky is still the Winter Soldier in a world where Peggy got the serum and became Captain Carter, but Steve wasn't born until the 90s. Bucky eventually defected from Hydra and became a vigilante in Brooklyn, and Steve is his neighbor who eventually befriends him.
Maybe I'll actually write the fic one day lol
(Ignore that exporting this from Procreate killed the quality, if anyone knows how to fix that pls let me know! Also I only know how to flat color but I'm working on it!)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SON. I'M SO PROUD OF YOU.

OF COURSE. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MY CHILD. I'M SO PROUD OF YOU.

I did my first photoshoot with @emerald-trashart for our Identity V costumes! Big thanks to ubevisuals on Instagram for being a fantastic photographer, she was so amazing to work with and very helpful for a first timer. I love how these turned out!
iâm so glad i started writing when i was young enough not to care that i was bad otherwise i absolutely would not have persevered long enough to become a good writer
I've been thinking about this a lot recently. There was something really special about being able to write with such reckless abandon when I was 10 years old.
Was it good? God no, of course not. The story didn't make sense, the writing was all over the place, I didn't understand sentence structures, characters were not consistent, there were unexplained loopholes and impossible, not-realistic things everywhere...
But I was writing completely unrestrained by knowledge, rules, and even the idea of what "good" writing was. I didn't worry about not finishing anything, I just wreaked havoc in whatever I felt like doing, patted myself on the back and moved on without cleaning up.
So it wasn't good writing. Not in any measure that we would judge writing by, but it was inspired. It was wild and free and absolutely magical in a way that only someone unburdened by wisdom and convention could actually write.
And I don't know, I just find that really poignant.
I also remember being 13 and posting my writing on Figment back when it was a thing. I got a very kind, and well-articulated review talking about how my plot was completely unrealistic, how this would never ever happen in real life and that I needed to do more research to make a coherent story. And they were right, it was a very valid piece of criticism. I'd probably say the same thing myself at this point.
But I also kind of want to go back in time and grab this person by the arms and say "that's not the point"! This was a story that I wrote with my friend as we giggled about all of these crazy ideas and how they were so freaking cool and we actually wrote it and it turned out even cooler that we thought.
The point was never to make it a good story, or a coherent plot, or have it be grounded in realism or even for it to be someone else to read. The point was for it to exist, for us to go absolutely wild with unrealistic ideas that we would never actually write now that we are much more experienced and knowledgeable writers, because we could and because it was fun.
I have so much more to say, but this is getting long so I'll wrap it up with this: I am so thankful that I got to experience this as a beginner writer without ever receiving criticism (constructive or not), or looking into any writing advice because I feel like it was such an important part of my development as a writer.
Yo so these were all last year but shout out to the time I got my Lotor cosplay together in time for my work's Halloween 2019 contest (and won! I got a giftcard :D) and AJ noticed me on Twitter! Also some pics of Holiday Matauri later in December when I wore him again.
I was nervous to post these, because I was/am insecure about my weight and especially so in cosplay, but I felt so happy in Lotor in a way I can't really replicate anywhere else. I wanna finish my work on this wig and finish up the pieces I haven't finished modifying, like the boots. (I ended up buying this cosplay on Amazon and then modifying it--I am not quite skilled enough and the version I was trying to hand make fell through but I learned a lot!) I'm so happy I got to be my space prince. He deserved way more than that narrative gave him.
So I originally wasn't gonna do anything for sheith day (i.e. 1 year anniversary of season 6, thus tbp) except enjoy all the nice art but then my replacement Keith wig came in today! I didn't wanna get all dolled up or try to cut the bands because I am sick today so instead I just put on my Red paladin hoodie, my Keith gloves, and used star glitter to make the scar, because I am a big gay.
You can watch as the glitter falls off as I try to figure out how to take good selfies! Also this whole idea is brought to you by my looking for a wig cap and spilling said glitter all over the floor and myself.
Got my card for Bad Things Happen Bingo!! Doing a Voltron theme. If any of my like 2 1/2 followers want to request feel free but I know I'm not really popular yet so I'll pick my own too :)
300 Words or Less Prompt: âI canât remember the last time I was happy.â (for @jessiesays! Sorry itâs so late haha)
Characters/Pairing: Sheith; Keith, Shiro, mentions of Allura and Kolivan
Word Count: 300
This one takes place around Season 4 or 5-ish, after Keith has joined the Blade but before any of the crazy Kuron stuff goes down! Have some angst, there was no way I couldnât with the prompt. Also I changed POV to third person for the quote because it felt weird to change to âIâ statements when Keith isnât actually talking to anyone.
The only times they see each other are through the video comms. Shiro is looking more like his old self, standing beside Allura and addressing the rebels gathered. Heâs always had a certain confident and trustworthy way about him, making him the obvious choice for leader even back at the Garrison, and even though itâs starting to show that the stress is creeping up on him--his smile doesnât meet his eyes quite the same way, and thereâs a new depth of tiredness that he hasnât been able to shake--he is still the obvious leader. Heâs still Shiro.
Keith wonders if he still looks the same from the other end. He feels smaller from his spot next to Kolivan, and quieter. Their meetings are brief and to the point, with Keithâs presence only on the off chance that he will have valuable input as a former paladin. He rarely does.
The meeting comes to an end without a word from Keith, but before ending the call Shiroâs eyes flicker instinctively to his. Itâs too quick for Keith to look away before their eyes meet; itâs only for a second, but his heart aches when Shiro visibly softens and offers a weak smile before disappearing.
Keith wonders if he should have smiled back, to reassure Shiro that he was happy--but he canât remember the last time he was happy. Maybe when he found Shiro again? Or afterward, sitting by his bedside while he recovered? Itâs hard to tell, but it doesnât matter. They have their places for this war, and those places donât coincide. All he can do now is try to make sure thereâs a universe left at the end, so that if nothing else, Shiro will have the chance to be happy.
Maybe if heâs lucky, Keith will be, too.
Trying a few new things, especially with outlining, so here's a sad Romelle! I drew her mostly while listening to "Lifeboat" from The Heathers Musical; I couldn't shake the thought of her feeling unsteady like that when she was all alone on the colony when everyone else was singing Lotor's praises. She must have felt so out of place and alone... I love this poor girl.
300 Words or Less Prompt: âShh, youâre safe now.â (for @jessiesays)
Characters/Pairing: Lotor, no pairing
Word Count: 300
This fic has season 6 spoilers and takes place thousands of years before Voltron! Lotor transporting the first Alteans to the colony.
The first nights were always the hardest. Feeling alone and scared in the cargo ship that Lotor had re-purposed for this, most of the Alteans he transported slept restlessly when they managed to sleep at all. He didnât blame them; each one had been in hiding for so long that the idea of traveling in a Galra ship was terrifying at best.
His current charges, a young couple with a baby, were exhausted. They hadnât slept at all the first two nights between their infantâs constant cries and their own fears. Lotor hadnât said anything, but he knew they couldnât keep that up for long.
As the ship navigated the quantum abyss, Lotor made an old Altean comfort food and sat with the couple. The hours passed as they about everything--the Galra, Altea, the places theyâd been and the place they would see. It was a small comfort, to see hesitant smiles and careful hope rise behind their tired eyes.
Hands intertwined, the young motherâs head rested in the crook of the fatherâs neck, Lotor suggested sleep just as the baby began to cry. The two shared an exhausted glance, but before they could untangle themselves, Lotor stood and walked to the bassinet.
Lotor lifted the child into his arms with the utmost care. The babe whimpered as he looked into barely familiar eyes, but Lotor kept himself calm and comforting as he cradled the baby close.
âItâs okay,â he cooed, checking to make sure it was only loneliness and not any other need. âShh, shh. Youâre safe now. I promise.â
The baby quieted in his arms, and when Lotor turned back to the couple, they had settled back into their seats. The mother met his gaze, mouthing a quick âthank youâ with a smile that finally met her eyes.
300 Words or Less Prompt: âIâm leavingâŠand Iâm not coming back.â (for @lasagnaoffilth)
Characters/Pairing: None specified; Acxa, Ezor
Word Count: 300 (I had to edit it down a little haha)
This fic has season 7 spoilers! It assumes that Acxa stayed with Ezor and Zethrid for a while before deciding to be a rebel instead.
It would be easier for all of them if she left while everyone was asleep. Despite the fact that the three of them hadnât been on the same page in a long timeâsince their first split with Lotor years ago, if she was being sincereâAcxa wanted to avoid direct conflict if possible. She, Ezor and Zethrid had been together for too long for that.
It was too easy. Acxa by nature was light-footed and stealthy, and she was a respected member of the crew. There was something bittersweet about knowing everyone here trusted that she was one of them, but that had stopped being true a long time ago. They all knew it.
Acxa was already in the hanger when she felt a familiar prickle down her spine. It was all the warning her body gave before the silence was broken.
âStrange time for a joyride.â
Acxa didnât need to turn to know that Ezor had uncloaked herself.
âStill not much of a talker, huh?â Ezor went on. The strain in her voice told Acxa that this wasnât easy for her, either. Theyâd been together for so long, it was like leaving a part of herself behind. They both felt it. Ezor focused instead on the fighter Acxa had chosen. âSheâs your favorite, huh? Taking her out?â
âIâm leaving,â Acxa corrected, voice as numb as she felt. âAnd Iâm not coming back.â
They both already knew that; the long silence that followed confirmed that. The tension in the air had Acxa ready to reach for her blaster, but when Ezor sighed deeply, she had already faced away.
âSee if I care,â Ezor said, voice flippant and almost bored. Pulling back. âDo whatever you want, but if you need help later, just remember that Voltronâs not here to save you anymore.â
300 words or less
Mission: Either pick a starter (or 2 or 3 or 1500) or have people ask you to write a small thing in 300 words or less in response. Â You (or your followers) can pick whether you make it angsty or fluffy or smutty or whatever and who youâre writing about. Feel free to add starters!
Starters: âI canât sleep without you hereâŠâ âIâm fine.â âItâs fine.â âIâm not okay.â âIâm okay.â âIâm leavingâŠand Iâm not coming back.â âI never meant to hurt you.â âI never meant for it to go this far.â âThis wasnât supposed to happen.â âIâm never going to leave you.â âShh, youâre safe now.â âI canât remember the last time I was happy.â âI canât remember the last time I was this happy.â âGreat, how are we supposed to get home now?â âI hope you like scary movies!â âYouâre not gonna cry, are you?â âI got the call last nightâŠâ âWow, I guess you really are that ticklish.â âI tried to surprise you, but I spilled your coffee on the way overâŠâ âDo you wanna get out of here?â âDid you hear something?â âShh, I think I hear something.â âYou smell really nice.â âI wish you would talk to me.â âI need you to talk to me.â âCan you hear me?â âPlease donât do thisâŠâ âYou wonât miss me.â âI wish I never met you.â âI wish I met you sooner.â âYou wanna go back to my place?â âYou should think about what youâve done.â
Okay I know a lot of people are upset that Shiro wasn't the one to deal the killing blow to Sendak--some people are even saying it somehow proves that Sendak was right or things like that--but the more I think about it the more I feel like there's a beautiful poetic justice to how it happened?
Sendak's biggest belief was that loving and caring for something more than yourself and your goals was a huge weakness--the biggest weakness Voltron has. He repeated it several times and the tactic did work in his favor a lot.
How beautiful was it, then, that his own biggest weakness and final downfall was that someone loved and cared about someone else enough to jump out of a giant ship directly at the big bad?
Shiro and Keith's bond, no matter how you interpret it, was exactly the kind of thing Sendak scoffed at and exploited, and it was what did him in. It's a powerful moment. Protecting someone else isn't a weakness, it's a strength, and all of Voltron is strong because no matter which one you target--even if you pick the strongest and most respected member of the group that you assume the others are following--another one will rush in to protect them. That's what Voltron is all about.
A little flash fic to ease myself back into writing for fandom! So I havenât written a fic in a very long time, but @arahirââs wonderful writing basically saved my Voltron fandom experience and also got me back into reading and writing fic, so I finally finished a flash fic using a few of her favorite tropes! Hope you guys enjoy!Â
Wake Up Next to You - Sheith, Domestic AU, Post-Canon, Flash Fic (1k)
Shiro had been sure that he was used to sleeping and waking up alone again. It wasn't a big deal; between living in and around several ships both alien and human, and existing in the literal void of the Black Lion's consciousness, there wasn't exactly the opportunity to cuddle up whether he wanted to or not. Even after he and Keith had gotten close enough to bridge the small space between them, he had been captaining the Atlas while Keith was leading Voltron. Sure, things were different after the war, but Shiro had already proven that he could survive hell without the little things, so he knew he could cherish them when he had them but function just fine without.
Or, at least, he had thought so. Apparently he had gone soft from Keith spoiling him with too many warm and loving nights, because he was way more upset than he had any right to be the first time we woke up alone in their shared room.
