5th attack for Art Fight! This one is a sweet revenge to @MadHighLows of their half-galra OC named Nico! They drew my lovely Danika so happily returned the favor! I was already going to attack them anyways which is why this was specifically half body and not a full body, but nevertheless put a lot of effect into drawing him. How much the galra live?

Well, I was thinking about this for a long time, because in my opinion, galra live so much more than an average human. And maybe more than alteans too.

Just for example, this is Krolia:

And this is Krolia but almost 20 years after the first picture:

I mean, it seems like there's something diferent, but something so small. Maybe this eternal youth in galras is just at the outside, but it makes me think that they could live so much years than humans.

Let's remember that after all, they're aliens, so they don't have to be exactly like us in everything. Their lifetime could be longer than ours with no problems between.

I noticed that with Alfor, Zarkon and Honerva too.

Look, this is when Zarkon and her met. Alfor is there too.

It's probably that Honerva grew old faster because of the quintessence, but how can I explain the Zarkon and Alfor thing?.

Galras live MANY years, and that's the last thing I will say about it.

And, does this affect Keith?

Literally, this was the only thing that worried me in case my theory was true. Because that could mean that he will live so much more than the paladins, and I think you know what that means.

So here’s another oc I had in mind for awhile now, her name is Immra’h and she is the child of the youngest Zunir matriarch and Zarkon, from back when he was still a prince, long before he became the Black Paladin and met Honerva, but during this time, Galra relations with other species were rather civil, especially with the planets Altea and Helior. Zarkon and the matriarch eventually parted ways on friendly terms, neither one aware of what was to come. Immra’h was basically left in the dark of who her father was, that is until many years later and a banished Lotor sought to make alliances with the failed ones his father once had in an effort for peace and civil relations, and better treatment of half galras as war waged and his father’s conquest for control and quintessence resulted in prejudices towards Galra halflings in other societies, including their own (Lotor himself, his generals,etc). It would backfire.

The knowledge of of who their father was only motivated her further to fight for their planet and prove that she was nothing like the monster Zarkon became.

This is basically a rough idea of what Zunir and crescent sun armor would look like, heavy influence from phoenix motifs (thinking phoenixes might have significance in Zunir culture and mythos), fire nation armor, sun and fire/warm colors and motifs, samurai and medieval knight armor, and perhaps the robes in “journey”, but that might just be due to similar color scheme lol

The names ‘tails’, ‘heatseekers’, ‘and vine surfers’ are my own personal nicknames for the Zunir breeds until I come up with official names for them, tails having a common ancestor with natives of the planet Sabalta (@bananasfosterparent)

The crescent sun are an organization founded by the Zunir matriarchs and the Ziphnite royals, with the intention of preserving their planets heritages and cultures, trading, and seeking allies with other planets. However, the Ziphnite faction more or less serves the Galra in efforts to keep their planet from hostile takeover (think something similar to the deal between ants and grasshoppers in A Bug’s Life), and the Helior faction became underground resistance group.

Nove used to be part of the Galra forces. She was just another soldier out on the battlefield like the hundreds of others that sacrificed themselves for a lie. All those years of training and she never got over the guilt she felt when following through with destructive orders.

Sometimes her commander would force her and her team to burn or bomb innocent villages just because they wouldn't bow to Emperor Zarkon. It never felt right to her and she was always the last to comply. Even after she’d had her life threatened she still felt like what they were doing was the opposite of the 'peace' Emperor Zarkon promised them and their families.

Nove’s family - her wife and brother - were the people she wanted to protect, and she felt sympathy for the men and women who died trying to protect their families from the Galra forces.

Nove was severely injured on the field shortly after she’d had a fight with her commander. Her arm had been crushed by a fallen wall and she was stuck. But the commander forced her team to leave her there because she wasn't following orders as blindly as the others.

Kolivan and his team found her after a few days and offered her help, and in return she’d join with the rebels in taking down Zarkon’s forces.

At the time she wanted revenge. she wanted to conquer Zarkon’s empire and take what he took from millions of innocent families. Force him to endure the pain of losing his family. But then she met Keith, and talking to him with the other Blades made her realize that revenge would just make her stoop to Zarkon’s level, and she wanted anything but that.

Nove has been separated from her family for a few years now, not being able to go back to them because of the war.

The MFEs are attacked during a rountine mission by Empire stragglers using questionable machinery that Haggar cooked up.

They wake up in their younger bodies on board the Castle of Lions right after the Olkarion mission.

(James & Keith can finally talk about everything that happened before their trip into space.)

Ina is quickly submerged into Hunk & Pidge’s techno babble. Green adores her (and if she’s encouraging her paladin to make a move, well its only logical)

Nadia and Lance get along so well that it’s scary. But she also spends a lot of time telling and teaching Allura about Earth culture.

Corran’s number system is all out of whack but he likes teaching about Altean culture.

Allura & Corran are quite happy to know that they are still Alteans out there somewhere. James emphasizes that Keith is the one to find them.

(Keith tells him about how Allura treated him when she found out that he was a hybrid. He was scared that James would do the same)

(Oh they also can’t go home. The whole timeline has been rewritten. (None of them mention Keith’s hybrid status (James confirms it to him in private)

Red likes James. Think he’s a little uptight at first until that all just goes out the window when he’s around Keith. Red approves. (Black does too when he finds out that Keith was his paladin after Shiro went missing) (James tells Shiro and Black in the Lion’s Den that he died and his soul was being held in the astro plane. He doesn’t know all the details. Only what Future Keith told him)

When the Paladins act weird around Keith after the Galra reveal, the MFEs surround and protect him. (Shiro is glad his brother has got such good friends)

Thace is saved. (James refuses to let Keith’s uncle die (I refuse to believe that Keith and Thace werent relates))
