techno highlights "did you step in?" and the fact tommy nor wilbur even tried to help him or defend him at tubbo's execution / the red festival. he points out how he was on his own against everyone and had no one on his side.

now if he look at techno's execution, we can find a few parallels; phil stepped in. when techno was on his own against everyone, phil spoke up, phil tried to stop the anvil and phil continuously showed support for techno.

phil even checked up on him, and went to see if techno was okay. he alerted him of the butchers right after they found the compass.

while at the red festival, techno had no one on his side, no one there for him when it was him against the world, no one to step in, PHIL was there at the execution. phil was there the whole time.

this just further proves how good their relationship is and why they're good for each other. techno got shown true kindness with philza - it allowed him to see the BS that happened at the red festival.

it's no wonder he trusts him so much - phil's there for him when no one else is.

Casual c!Dream enjoyers who have only a surface-level understanding of the character but are clearly curious about him are the best actually.
