amazing, truly
Ok, but in Carrieās book, she definitely mentions more than one occasion when Mark showed up unannounced at Harrisonās early in the morning when Carrie was just there and they were clearly not having a breakfast hang out and Mark was just like āhey guys letās hangā, and also Mark followed their car while they were making out and honked at them and was like āoh hey wow, weāre all heading to the same place! letās all go eat together!ā
oblivious third wheel mark hamill is a legend
iām mark hamill
The real victory here is knowing that Mark Hamill was good enough friends his co-stars to randomly show up at their houses uninvited to hang out and get food while simultaneously being too self absorbed to notice anything
If Din ever does some shits like this I might die
Exactly. Like if you can watch this clip and not know 1000% in the deepest part of your soul, (and also in your nethers) that this dude fucks...then are we even watching the same movie?
āBut you never even see his faceā I have heard some fools people say, in the days before we ever saw Jango Fett.
I donāt need to. My competence kink AND my Thing for people in armor have been in full agreement on this since puberty hit
Hurricane relief charity print (2 week limited run)
https://www.inprnt.com/gallery/barnaby/queen-of-legs/
My neighborhood has gotten pretty smashed up recently. The northern Caribbean islands are a complete mess from Irma and Dominica just a suffered direct hit from Maria, and is absolutely devastated. There are a lot of relief efforts being put together here in Barbados to send aid directly to the victims, and Iād like to do what I can to help.
Iām releasing a completely new print āQueen of Legsā, available in 4 sizes. The print will be available from September 20th to October 4th. All profits from the print run will be put towards supplies and support for the relief effort. Additionally, any other prints purchased from my iNPRNT store during this period will be treated as charity sales.
Iāll be working with ships like Schooner Ruth (who just returned from a 30 ton delivery of supplies to Anguilla) and others.

They have nine beverages between the two of them

What they have are five beverages and four waters. Water, by definition, cannot be a beverage.

guys this email was just sent to my entire class (including my professor I think) please enjoy
For the last decade or so, Iāve been routinely attending a ride-on lawnmower race. Iāve always wanted to participate, but the high cost of used mowers is better spent on more practical vehicles, like literally anything else. Sometimes, though, the universe sends you a message. And in my case, that message came in the form of an awkward leg of a huge trade-in scam.
Picture, if you will, the humble redneck. They await the approach of big, fast domestic mowers. John Deeres, Cub Cadets, even weird modified Chinese stuff they looted from Aliexpress. There is jubilance, but that soon comes to an awkward hush. An unfamiliar engine note approaches.
My International 1480 combine harvester, all ten tons of it, is barrelling down the highway at a clip somewhere betweenĀ ātepidā andĀ ājaunty.ā Even though I have shown up for a race, I am sandbagging a little bit, making sure that the bets get settled against my vehicle before I show them the might of a fully operational monster such as mine.
Technically, there is no violation. I had looked at the rulebook from every angle in the previous year: it has the correct number of wheels, the proper agricultural intent, and with precise work on the tiller, it can even (poorly) mow a suburban lawn. Is it modified? Oh yes, yes indeed, but I see the nitrous bottles poking out from the rows of Kubotas at the starting line.
And when I leave the starting line, it is a thing of beauty. At least for a few milliseconds. It seems that the wizards at International Harvester simply did not comprehend of a situation in which the frame of their combine would be launched into the air by means of one thousand eight hundred foot-pounds of supercharger-bolstered torque. I had erroneously believed that the loose soil of the rural community would let the wheels dip in, but now I am facing directly into the sky, having twelve oā clocked hard on my wheelie, shooting flames from my exhaust and whirling vertical blades of death towards the grandstand.
Itās not about whether you win or lose. Sometimes itās about how many pages you add to the rulebook.

I am but a mild-mannered urban being and have no idea what happened in this story, but with all the Gods as my witness I am getting the above text put on a plaque and hanging it in my living room.
this⦠this is what he brought to race against lawn tractors⦠and⦠he caused it to flip over⦠which is harder in this than in a normal farm tractor.. but not impossibleā¦.

THIS. I wish I could be as eloquent as this person. Because this is how you make a difference.
for everyone in the notes asking: this was @raindovemodelā (who is no longer active on tumblr, theyāre active on instagram where this was posted but i wont link it because tumblr would hide this in the notes)
Rain (any pronouns) is a genderfluid model & posts a lot about how their ability to āpassā as either a man or a woman influences them, and shows off the absurdity of double standards such as mens vs womens olympic uniforms and societal treatment based on perceived gender
Theyāre also incredibly patient with transphobes and other bigots, and much more so than most of us can manage and I think itās amazing that they put up with what people say & do
BRO !!!!!!
the idea that humans are a garbage species is so obnoxious no one talks about the peaceful parts of history and prehistory because they arenāt as exciting as us killing each other but um homo sapiens have been doing awesome things all over for a long timeā¦.we survived the fucking ice ageā¦we made it through the sinai desertā¦.we shared the savana with big cats before we ever made a weapon, we wove baskets from literal plants and halved blades from flint to handles we made, carved harpoons from bone and fought megafauna for our loved ones, cooked food and took care of the elderly and buried our dead, painted pictures and shared stories, built homes from clay and mud and straw, made instruments so we could dance and singā¦it is so easy to focus on the negative and i get it ok we are in the middle of a mass extinction event that specific humans are at fault for but listen: they donāt want you to remember it hasnāt always been like thisā¦we were and are so much more than evil
Thereās still so much good in us right now, and there always has been! The fact that there is a lot wrong in the world right now doesnāt make the good less important or meaningful. Weāre alive right now. We can still sing and tell stories and love each other and create good in the world.
