endless summer really was the goat man. unique art style, plot that was actually meaningful even when it was corny, fun plot twists, building/losing character relationships actually meaning something, the MYSTERY, every li actually getting screentime and mattering to the story even if u didnt romance them, getting to pick ur own ending,,,,,,they dont make the girlies like that anymore

did the writers just forget about the fact that liam’s mom was secretly pregnant when she was murdered and we still don’t know why she was refusing to tell constantine? or why drake’s dad was helping her? did they forget about madeleine’s dad and his weirdly ominous words to us last time we saw him? did they forget about the fact that barthelemy was almost certainly involved in the assassination of queen eleanor and we have yet to uncover it? or that olivia’s parents may have been assisting?

why are they ignoring all of the interesting plot points and intrigue and backstory that THEY set up in favor of another tired “tour the kingdom” storyline??????
