The cold does not wait. The wind enters from every side. At night, my children cannot sleep—not because of noise, but because of hunger. My baby daughter cries in my arms, and I have nothing to give her. No milk. No warmth. Only empty hands and a broken heart. 🥶👶💔
As a father, this is the deepest pain—to see your children suffer and feel helpless.
Every day is a battle. I search for food. I try to keep our tent standing. I try to protect my children from sickness, fear, and despair. I am doing everything I can… but it is not enough. 😔

I couldn't be bothered to draw the bullies because the original episodes genuinely made me sick, to the point of throwing up.
Shota made her school life a living hell simply because she refused to write his essays and to be a decent human being to Junpei.
Junpei felt intense guilt because of it and tried to make it up to her despite his misanthropy mostly because she didn't treat him like some worthless being.
as much as i like itajun i can’t see it as anything other than unrequited or a little crush ( on jun’s end) but i think the idea of him having a little highschool sweetheart would be so cute!!
so i’m pretending junpei now exists in a SOL shoujo anime and this is Haru Yuuto. She’s a recent transfer that is also a victim of bullying and a bit of a social reject. She crushes real bad on Junpei. They end up becoming friends due to both being cast out, and it goes from there. She loves otome games, romance manga, and collecting cute things/clothes. I wanted to explore how girls are usually bullied, normally due to unfair beauty standards. She’s a bit similar to Yuko except there’s no stylistic choice to Haru being plus sized. (Yuko’s middle school design and how they drew her face made it obvious they were trying to push the idea of bigger = unattractive imo.) I also don’t plan on making Haru lose any weight unlike Yuko. She’s naturally heavier due to her genes and she’s perfectly lovely as she is. Not hating on the Yuko and Yuuji thing at all! Just explaining how it’s different.
