Welcome! (Intro post)
My name is Liam/Alder! I am 24, white, transmasc (he/him), and bi + aro. This is my side blog for my jc-vtu canon and au musings. My main blog is @/liamins, but I primarily post donation posts there, so please check there with caution. Please don't follow if you're pro//ship or bigoted in any way, I will block asap if I catch you.
As you can likely tell by my username, I like Kit quite a lot, but I love the rest of the cast just as much and I don't subscribe to the idea of him being 'done dirty' by Jentry or the show's writing overall.
Additionally, due to the nebulous nature of his canon age and for my own personal comfort, I personally prefer to not make/reblog any romantic shipping content involving Kit. You can still follow and interact if you make/like this content in a not-weird way (e.g you interpret him being the same age as the other teens on an abstract level), just please be aware of this boundary.
The last thing I would like to add to this bit is that, while I try to do my best with research into any mythology and history, I greatly appreciate any additional feedback on anything I might be incorrect about and resources for any of the subjects I bring up looking into! (I also love to chat and answer asks, so please don't hesitate to send any questions/comments you might have!)

Balance's Emissary/BalEm - A post-canon au centered around Kit joining a ghost+demon-hunting force formed by Zhongkui, with the one condition of being made human. Posts directly related are tagged '#balance's emissary', while posts that make me think of the story are tagged '#balance's inspo'.
The Straynger - A Kit lives au where, after surviving Mr.Cheng's attack on his disguised form, Jentry agrees to attempt to make him human in exchange for him leaving her alone forever. This ends up failing when Jentry instead removes a curse that had altered Kit's form, revealing him to be a Penghou (a tree spirit with the body of a dog and face of a human). Can't Give Up The Ghost/cgutg - Less of an au and more of a general tag for my interpretation of Flora's past, especially her relationship with Zhongkui. Because of this, I also use my personal ship tag for them; '#spiritflower'; quite a bit in conjunction with the other ones.
