I’ve had plenty of people usually asking me where I got my info from whenever I make certain remarks from the extra materials. Admittedly, it’s a bit of a pain for me to always 1) go to chrome, 2) search a blog name, 3) open a page, and 4) click on the said post, just so that I could send the link to it to them, especially when I’m usually on mobile.
So I made this list, just so that it’ll be a ton easier for anyone who wants to have a quicker access to the extra materials.

I'll admit that the "Danny and Damian are twins" concept is growing on me. But I also found hilarity and irony on their names.
Daniel's came from an angel, which means "lion of god".
Damian means "to conquer" or "to tame", but his name almost sounds like Daemon.

Oof I made a mistake... I confused the name meanings of Daniel and Ariel. Daniel's actual name meaning is "God is my Judge".
Danyal, the name most DPxDC (mostly in Batman) community gives to Danny and a variant to Daniel, means "known intellectual and careful to justice".
... Yeah, I did an OOF and confused Daniel's name meaning with Ariel's 😅

Okay, I need to write this down. Whoever just started following me or other wonderful people on this site, for the love of god, customize your blogs!
We have a history of unsuspecting “followers” which they can be bots in disguises. I can’t deal with this anymore because you, people who just started using Tumblr and leaving your blogs plain, need to customize your shit because it limits possibilities of encountering these dummy accounts, especially porn bots.
(No, I’m not censoring the word, porn because this is crucial to the level I need to gain some attention for anyone who scrolls by.)

I just notice this trend in the Danny Phantom x Batman fanfics... is how y'all widen the gap on the Fenton Family. More specific, between the parents and Danny.
Let me list it out:
In most fics, Danny ran away from Amity Park. And there are 2 sub category of why he ran away...
First and the most common, is that his parents, Jack and Maddie Fenton, find out that Phantom is Danny and reacts negatively. This happens when they walk into a place while Danny is in the middle of transformation. Now the reactions on the discovery differs: whether Danny immediately bails and fled, or is captured experimented on and his friends and his sister are the one who bail him out. And in some, the parents just gave him to the GIW! The thing is, his parents have strong dissociation on Danny and Phantom, to a point they thought that Phantom killed their son and is posing as him.
Second and... what Danny is most scared of... is his parents, his sister and his friends died. The plot depends though, there are some fics only his family died but his friends are still alive and in some his sister is alive. Also depends on the timing and who done it, like if this is TUE where Clockwork did not save his loved ones, then Danny ran away to avoid Vlad and prevent his future self. In some, GIW did the deed because the parents (who discovered Danny is Phantom but they still love him) refused to give the ghost boy to them.
Like give the boy trauma, whether his parents experiments on him or kill them, then ship him off to Gotham so Bruce can adopt him...
Good lard...
And the last one on the list... is pretty much the tame and does not involved experiments, death of the family and friends, and Bruce's adoption problem.
Is that Danny distanced himself, sometimes along with his sister, after graduating high school and moving to a new place for college/university.
In this plot, Danny is able to keep his ghost half a secret and went thru his life as... well... intact as possible. However, something happened to the family dynamic of the Fentons, and both Danny and Jazz ended up distancing from their parents.
That's pretty much it... the most used plots that involves Danny leaving Amity Park, whether he is traumatize or not 🙂
Mentally Debating on who am I going to use as the big baddie for the DP x DC fic...
Here are my 2 options: either Vlad Plamius or Dark Danny(aka Dan Phantom)
I feel like Vlad is more fit for the story as this is the starting point... but Dan is relatable to Jason in terms of loss, as it is shown that Dan hated losing (He said that he want more power so that he will no longer lose.)

Actually, Dan is more relatable to Bruce/Batman in terms of loss. I mean, both lost their family (and friends with Dan's case) and swear to become stronger as they grow-up.
The difference is: Bruce became Batman, so no other people (and children... more on the children) can experience the loss as he did. Dan, on the other hand, wants to become powerful, so he would not lose... anyone close to him.

How come she's the physically fit among the three and a vegan/vegetarian? Like does she not experience vitamin deficiency at all?
Sorry, it just... I watched an episode from the Simpsons, where Lisa is prescribed supplements due to her iron deficiency and discovered bug diet. And then I remembered Sam from DP, who is an ultra-recyclo-vegetarian (literal MUD pies and grass on the bread).
So unless Sam has supplement prescriptions, how is she healthy?

DPxDC Danny's age gap with the Robins as brothers in fanfics:
Dick Grayson - In most fanfics, Danny is the younger brother by, at least 3-5 years. Takes the role of the 2nd older brother in the Batfam. Although there is a fic where Danny and Dick are twins... I think that's a YJ fanfic, forgot title tho.
Jason Todd - younger brother by 5-7 years, same or a year or 2 younger from Tim Drake.
Timothy Drake - Twins, or maybe a year or 2 younger? I don't see much fanfic where they are brothers, but can be posible as Tim's parents are neglectful... going on a trip and leaving him alone, I don't think the nanny is home all the time or is just neglectful.
Damian Al-Ghul Wayne - Mostly twins, most fanfics age Damian up to Danny's age. Although there are a few fanfics where Danny is the older brother to Damian, and again, same or younger than Tim.
BONUS ROUND!
In some fanfics, Dick or Jason becomes Danny's new father. In a few cases, mostly Dick as he's the eldest, had a one time fling with Maddie... which made me mentally question 'HOW?!', because she is married... (looking at the FF.net fic 'Son of Nightwing', like 😐).
However in most fanfics, Dick and Jason just 'pulled a Bruce'.
I just realized that in most DPxDC fanfic, mostly the Batman crossover, where Danny is related to a Robin... Danny is placed on the role of the Crown Prince or Ghost King of the Ghost Zone/Infinite Realms.
Then by extension, wouldn't the chosen Robin be also a Prince? Or maybe a Duke of the GZ?
Cause I read fanfic about Danny being the Ghost King, but no one greets the Robin as 'his highness' or 'prince'.
Considering Danny won his title via combat, blood probably wouldn't matter that much to the ghosts? If anything the Robin in question would have to prove their qualifications for the title of a prince via combat.
(Dorathea and Aragon live in a haunt specifically modeled after European middle ages, so there blood might matter)
But there is one problem tho... Jasmine "Jazz" Fenton.
I came across fanfics where ghost recognized Jazz as a princess due to her relation with Danny. Which then made me pause and think... 'Wait what about the fanfics where Danny was adopted by the Fentons and is related to someone else?'.
If you are going to say "What about when they fought in Secret Weapon?"... They just pretend fight to trick Vlad, nothing to prove there.

Ideas for Halfa!Jason Ghost Core Element:
Fire - This is the most common in most of the DPxDC for Jason. The only reason why I can think most picked fire for him, is because of his anger (and disappointment on Batman).
Shadow - Shadow manipulation, basically. Different from Johnny 13 whose shadow has a mind of it's own, I'm not sure but is there a shadow wielder in the Suicide Squad stories? (Yea... this is on me for being hyper focus on one specific superhero 😅) Well, he is part of the BatFamily... plus an excuse to give Jason a familiar.
Ice - Like Danny... I mean, most DPxDC fanfic gives him Fire. I wanna do something opposite and maybe have him and Danny to bond because of their shared element.
Water - Okay, this... this just came to me for playing Genshin Impact. If you don't know, the Hydro Element in the game, has a connection with justice. Mind you, one of the Hydro wielders is Tartaglia/Childe, a Harbinger of the Tsaritsa and loves to challenge strong foes. He fell into the Abyss when he was a kid, and came out of it feral and hungry for more fights. Childe reminds me a wee bit of Jason.
DPxDC fanfic scene idea: During his six months in death, Jason met Bruce's parents, Thomas and Martha Wayne, in the Ghost Zone. While they are both excited to meet their grandson (don't care whether blood-related or not), they are equally sad that his life was taken too soon.
Martha absolutely coddled and adored him while Thomas would tell Jason Bruce's embrassing toddler years.
On Jason's ressurection, they are both dishearten that he is gone... but hopeful that he will be reunited with his father.
Unfortunately, Jason's memory in the GZ becomes blur... and shit happens.
So... when Jason goes (return) to the GZ (when the fanfic plot reaches the part where the BatFam learns about his ghostly abilities), he is quite flabbergast (and so does the rest of the BatFam) on learning that he is the favorite grandson of the four.
(If you are wondering, what about Damian? Apperently, in the comics, it said he went to hell...? Yeah, I'm going to look it up later. But because he went down the fiery pits, I don't think he got a chance to meet his grandparents, who are in the Ghost Zone... Sorry Dami.)
I was thinking of writing a DC x DP fanfic and it will mostly centered on Jason and the rest of Team Phantom.
No... no other Batfamily involved, only Jason.
There'll be rare contacts with Oracle, but for most of the story there will be no others Bats in Amity Park.
