I don't know who needs to hear this, but what you put up with will become THE STANDARD in your life. Every single time you settle for less, you will get even less than what you settled for. And you're worth way more than that.
At some point, enough has to be enough. I get it, you don't ask for much...but that's the problem. I mean, when did you become okay with not asking for more? Why do you allow your needs to go unmet every time?
You're downplaying your power...and everyone can see it, so they give you exactly the bare minimum. Someone as powerful as you will always be met with resistance. It comes with the territory.
There comes a point in time where you have to get real about the people around you and the experiences you've had. YOU set the standard. Forgive yourself for not giving yourself the world, and go out there and walk in your power.
Everything the world has to offer is your birthright...don't let anyone convince you of less just because they don't have the tools to give you what you need. Be willing to walk away from people that treat respecting you and loving you like a challenge. Be willing to close the door regardless of history. No more making excuses.
This is your reality check. This is your wake up call. Close the year on a different note and dedicate the next few weeks to YOU and creating and fine tuning your standards.
You're so close to your dream life...but what's stopping you is waiting for permission from others to live it. Living for others is a gateway to a life of regrets and a first class ticket to resentment. The happiest people live on their own terms, and anyone who can't get down with that, they peacefully say, "Thanks, but no thanks." and love from afar.
This month, this next year...you need to choose yourself. And that's non-negotiable. Now let's walk into our purpose and set The Standard... boundaries, substance, and self preservation. Whoever is unable to adhere to that can get left where we found them. Dollhouse meeting adjourned!
