⚡ sigil charging for secret witches ⚡
a lot of sigil charging methods require burning paper or having materials like crystals and candles, which isn’t always feasible for peeps living in dormitories or with less than supportive housemates. here’s a handful of more discreet methods I’ve used myself! (and some that I’ve been meaning to test;;)
🖋️ digital art > use photoshop or another art program to draw the sigil at 1% opacity over top of a photo or piece of digital art. > bonus: set the picture with the “invisible” sigil as your phone or laptop wallpaper. the sigil will charge as the device does!
🖋️ earth > draw the sigil in dirt, dust, or sand, then cover it back up. > for sea witches and peeps who live by the ocean: you can draw the sigil in the sand close to the water and leave it for the waves to wash away.
🖋️ lotion > draw the sigil on your body using lotion and rub it in + let it absorb. > this method works even better if you can match the lotion scent to the sigil’s purpose (e.g. vanilla-scented for a love sigil, lavender-scented for an anti-anxiety sigil, etc.)
🖋️ shower > draw the sigil on your body using a pen / marker or even just shower gel, then take a shower and wash it off. > as with the lotion method, you can use scent correspondences to help boost the effectiveness.
🖋️ toast > on a piece of bread or toast, draw the sigil with butter / mayo / a condiment of your choice, and enjoy. > you can also draw another one on a second slice of toast and make a sigil sandwich! try to roughly match the purposes of the two sigils though to keep your intent from getting muddled. (e.g. a self-love sigil on one slice and a confidence sigil on the other)
🖋️ water > dip your finger or a paintbrush in water, draw the sigil on a surface and let it evaporate. > if you want to enchant a particular item you can draw the sigil right on it; just be careful with non-waterproof items like grimoires.
