First you create a private CW. That’s the first dick move. Why do people limit CWs to a specific group of people? Why is this still allowed? In the beginning, I understand why Subeta didn’t put any regulations in place in regards to distribution but its about time they did. Unfortunately, a few of the popular releasers threatened to quit the site if private status was no longer allowed, so we are stuck with this bullshit since Subeta can’t risk upsetting their cash cows. If you want something special, why can’t you support the artists by ordering forum art?
Second, these people get pissed off if we ask to buy a CW they mark as private. Just by us asking they find it annoying and bitch about us to their friends on their discord. Why are you getting upset by us just asking if you are using the PUBLIC wardrobe to create items for an exclusive group?
Third, some of them have responded this by saying they paid for it, so they can do what they want and if we want it so bad, why can’t we pay an artist to do something similar. I’ve read this response a few times from several of them responding to other people but I never screenshot them, if you have, share them on here.
Fourth, if we ever do find a private cw in the pawn shop, these lunatics go after us demanding and guilt tripping us to either return it or sell it back to them.
Things are changing now. Finally we have a newcomer to the CW field, Dude, who is breaking the mold and not joining the bandwagon. Dude has provided lower prices to many of their CWs and has created similar CWs. Dude hasn’t COPIED CWs as some people accused them of doing. If those CWs were copied, Subeta would have frozen them or at least banned them from CWs a long time ago.
The similar CWs are inspired by CWs that were either super limited or sold a long ass time ago. Dude recognized the demand in the CW market and has created their own version and sells them at a fair price.
These lunatics are frothing at the mouth realizing that their ‘oh so exclusive collections’ aren’t going to be worth shit anymore. If these private exclusive CWs are as you all claim to have sentimental value as symbols of your friendship, why do you care if we’re able to buy similar ones? Do your feelings for your friends gift change if the CW is no longer the only one of its kind?!
Last, as I’ve gone on this rant I noticed something doesn’t make sense.
Private CWs are not recognized by Subeta as being private. Submitting the CW to Subeta means Subeta owns the CW, you only own the distribution.
So in regards to Dude and hopefully more artists being inspired by previous CWs, maybe you should STFU!

If privates annoy you so much that you want screenshots of people simply saying “it’s my money, I can do what I like with it.” maybe it’s time to leave the site and go out for a breather. The fresh air will do you good.
