I’ve noticed recently that you apparently can’t ship xyz ship unless you’re a survivor of xyz. I don’t understand why not. I get that it’s important to know that these things happen and it’s not good to romanticize it but at the same time, as long as you’re not going out doing whatever xyz ship is “romanticizing” then what’s the harm? I understand that the survivors of things like that exist and what happened to them is awful, but why cant you say that you ship something without getting called a pedophile, rape endorser, incest supporter, etc.? If they’re allowed to feel safe and comfortable with their purely SICK attraction to underage kids, more of them will ACT on those feelings, and you’re helping them. MAPs should NEVER feel comfortable, or supported in ANY way. Either they get PROFESSIONAL help, or they get to see how vile they are through those of us who ACTUALLY don’t support pedophilia. There are pedophiles who have never harmed anyone, with uncontrollable attractions that they have never acted upon, and who are seeking help. There is a program in some country that has openly accepted pedophiles without judgment who are seeking help and fear that they may some day do something. It has helped to reduce assault on children. They don't all want to be pedophiles and almost none of them want to act on their impulses. It's a mental disorder often caused by childhood trauma.

Fair enough. I can grant those who seek PROPER HELP that they don’t deserve that. But I figure it’s pretty much implied by the MAJORITY of people who say “Pedophiles need to die”, that it’s the “active” ones. So keep that in mind for future reference.

I honestly hated Rose Tyler. I still do and I don’t really get the point of her. I don’t get why the Doctor liked her more than the others. I don’t get why people like her. I just find her annoying in general, that when I re-watch Doctor Who episodes, I skip all the episodes she’s in. The Day of the Doctor I didn’t mind much because she wasn’t in it much, but I just don’t really like her or understand the point of her character. It’s not just that he came to incorrect conclusions, he falsified data on purpose, apparently because he had patented a related medical test and stood to make a lot of money off people using his test instead of vaccinating.

It’s crazy how this one person, in a study of only twelve children, gained so much traction in the world. He put this lie out there—and it was a lie, not just interpreting data incorrectly—and now it doesn’t even matter that he’s been proven totally false. Years of effort to reestablish the truth can’t undo the lie once it’s out there in the world. Hundreds of thousands of people believe that lie, and actual children are getting sick and dying because of it.

This is a really troubling aspect of how human minds work, and it’s something conservative politicians take advantage of on a regular basis. If you just say that “well over 90% of what Planned Parenthood does“ is provide abortions, it doesn’t matter how often people recite the objective truth that abortions are a tiny fraction of Planned Parenthood services. You can say the truth 1000 times for every one time the lie is repeated, and thousands of people will still trust the lie.

Thats actually a really interesting and complicated case. One of the swine flu vaccines that was widely used in Europe does appear to correlate strongly with narcolepsy. However, other swine flu vaccines used else where did not AND a study in China found that getting the infection (not the vaccine) had a huge correlation with narcolepsy. Scientists are still looking into what happened in this specific case.

But 1 it has nothing to do with autism and 2 im still gonna say narcolepsy is better than death.

My little sister is allergic to eggs, and cannot have the flu vaccine. I am immunocompromised due to a medical condition and cannot have any vaccines anymore. If your unvaccinated self passes by me in a Walmart, if you touch the door handle at the bank and I touch it after you, if you breathe or cough in the subway, My sister and I could get sick. Another day, another time I need to say this: If you are unvaccinated, and it’s not because you are immunocompromised or allergic to things in the vaccines, then you need to be QUARANTINED!!! I get that the USA is supposed to be a “free country”, but when the health of others is in danger, we need to PROTECT them!
