I'm adapting my cheese melt/season-3-rewrite AU's version of Urban Jungle into a three chapter fan-webcomic. I'm planning to post two pages every Friday, in hopes that will give me enough time to work on the next chapters.

This is intended as a close retelling of the original episode that follows all major plot beats, but Danielle's presence will naturally spice things up and there are plenty of entirely original sequences and modified canon scenes to look forward to.

Danny is suffering from an odd cold when Undergrowth, a powerful plant ghost, conquers Amity Park and enslaves his friends and family. To make matters worse, Danny's annoying rival--the daughter of his arch enemy--is the only other one left standing. For once, the eerily similar ghost kids have a shared goal, but is Amity Park big enough for both of them?

You know every show that the premise is like “people find out ghosts/monsters/demons are real and are charged with stopping them” appeal to me way more now as a post-graduate not because I believe in ghosts more or whatever but because can you IMAGINE just being handed a job that you don’t even need to apply for? Like just being told “basically there’s this bad thing and all you do is make sure it doesn’t do what it wants” that’s just customer service baby and I worked that for 6 goddamn years! Just TRY getting past “I have a job to offer you” before I can jump down your throat agreeing.
