When Johnny joins the activity club, and he will, can you imagine how obnoxious he, Max, and Isaac would be? Spender would be trying to be all spooky and dramatic and the three of them are watching a trashcan slowly melt. Johnny and Isaac making horrible drawings and Max is telling spirits they are cowards. Isaac breaking into Max's house because Johnny dared him to. Johnny and Max yelling about how old Isaac is is the only way Suzy gets info on the club.

So let's look at the day Stephens had so far

He had a hella argument with his mom (same buddy)

Escaped his house

Fought a highschooler

WON

Got a dog

Existential crisis in a witchy store

Got emotionally bonded with the dog

Had to return the dog to it's owner

Found out that that wasn't the dogs owner

Found out that the evil lady farming Bitcoin using dogs was the mother of the highschooler he fought

Found out she was the soon to be ex-wife of his favorite radio guy

Found out that the police were working undercover to to stop the Bitcoin farming

Had to run when the police raided the lady's house

also all the cops are totally aware that Davy is a vampire? Or really close and they love teasing him about it? Or both? Meaning Stephen’s mom is either aware of it, or she just thinks it’s a long-running joke.
