I talked a bit about this in the first point here. They are possessive of each other but in their own way, let's say it's not traditional jealousy (ie. born from insecurity) because -- this only applies to their relationship -- they both know that they're like magnets and will always gravitate/come back to each other... They don't LIKE when it diverts from this. They're really just extremely attached to each other, in the same way you shouldn't separate an atom because otherwise it's nuclear fission.
