i love reading fanfic but a while ago i read a fanfic with the most beautiful writing and the most intriguing plot ever, it was so good that i was reading it during all of my free time. and it was the first of a series so of course i read the nest fic in the series which was just as amazing as the first one. but it wasnt complete, and it was left on the BIGGEST cliffhanger, and i could kinda tell what was probably gonna happen next because there were a lot of clues throughout the fic, but there were a few things that made me less sure about my theory so i dont know for sure. but even if it never gets finished im so glad i read it becuase its absolutely phenomenal.

anyway the point of this post was to say that if you only ever read completed works because you dont want to read something thatll never get finished, you might miss out on some truly wonderful works of art.

In fights with the Avengers, more often than not, Deadpool ends up dying

The Avengers clear out after they've won and leave Deadpool, saying that he'll be fine and on his feet again soon, but Spider-Man stays

He sits by the body and watches him heal

He makes sure that Deadpool is alright

Sometimes he holds his hand to feel the warmth return or rests a hand over his neck or wrist and waits for his pulse to come back

VERY huge fan of the extremely specific Spideypool trope in which Wade is very much NOT that involved with many people in the regular civilian crowd but then sees Peter Parker in the midst of many other people and immediately starts changing his tune

spideypool is like that one couple you know that act like theyre in their 80s and have been married basically forever even though they met five years ago.

like theyll be in the grocery store arguing over what kind of bread they should get but its more of a debate than an argument if that makes sense? but its also kind of an argument, and they both know theyre just gonna end up getting the same kind of bread they always do (probably cracked wheat but im not an expert on bread) and also they both know each others coffee orders better than their own.

i bet they would share a bottle of dr pepper while watching that one youtube video where the guy watched every barbie movie to find out which one was the best, but they drink the dr pepper out of wine galsses and talk about completely unrelated things the whole time. btw i dont care if this is inaccurate i just need to put thoughts about them out into the world they cant stay in my head
