Whats going on with social media lately 😭

i cant like a post on tumblr without the like immediately unliking itself. On twitter i must give a video of my face or hand to confirm im human so i can like ONE post, or else my account is locked forever. On Instagram likes disappear after a few hours. Social medias are hanging on a string of hair in 2020s 🙃🫠🫠

disappearing likes is an issue across a lot of social media i feel like. i wonder if it's a storage issue or what, because i've somehow lost likes on tumblr, youtube, twitter, reddit, etc. it feels like the only way to make likes permanent is to "favorite" posts, but not all websites have that feature...
