The Camp Lazlo Wiki may have banned me indefinitely, but they’ll come crawling back. You see, they need me more than I need them.
Please support my autistic sister during benefit sanctions!!
Wednesday, June 3rd: Hello everyone, I’m Gem, and I’m setting up a crowdfunding campaign for my sister Cheryl. Her Universal Credit has been sanctioned for 91 days, and she urgently needs support to get through the next few months.
As stated in my previous post, my sister, who is in her 30s and autistic, recently caught the flu. While she was unwell, her unemployment advisor requested that she submit her CV for a job application. Unfortunately, due to her illness, this important task slipped her mind, and she ended up applying a few days later than expected. As a result, she has been sanctioned for 91 days, until July 15th, leaving her with a minimal welfare payment of just £7 for the entirety of June.
This is clearly not sufficient to cover her bills or purchase groceries/pet supplies. However, thankfully, due to the help of our previous post, she was able to pay off her utilities, and on June 1st, she was awarded a hardship payment of £150 to help her until the end of June. She is also awaiting word back from an appeal regarding the sanction
Unfortunately, she still has £214.91 in direct debits due in the next week and needs assistance in covering them. I also have a £93 bill due this month that I need help with. It is also my birthday on the 19th, so I would really appreciate it if anyone could help us!!
I know this is a lot to ask, but if anyone could spare any amount to help my sister and me get by, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would mean a great deal, and sharing helps just as much.
Thank you ❤️
£31.71/£300!!

Honestly, Tvyek is pretty miraculous. It’s permeable to water vapor but not to water, it’s nearly impossible to tear, but can be easily cut. It’s cheap and made entirely without binding chemicals. In addition to being used for wristbands, it’s used to wrap construction sites to keep out water during construction, for tear-resistant envelopes at Fed-Ex, coveralls for mechanics, and my wallet, actually.
Fun tip, though it looks like paper, Tyvek is plastic, and cannot be recycled with paper.
holy fuc
I didn’t even know it had a name
WHAT
shit you can't make up
I will. I WILL!!
trying to explain to dumbass tumblr users that saying they benefit from systemic oppression on a certain axis is not the same as invalidating every struggle theyve ever had in their entire life
“how did you get into writing” girl nobody gets into writing. writing shows up one day at your door and gets into you
"how did you get into writing" girl i've been tormented by the visions since i was eight years old

THE CHAFF PROJECT
Hi! Are you cis in the UK and you'd like to support trans rights? Great!
How: buy a trans flag pin and wear it in public.
Why: chaff is an overwhelming amount of false positives so that when a missile gets close to the plane, it hits the chaff and not the plane.
In practice: the goal is to make it DIFFICULT to identify trans people to target with bathroom bans, and to create many FALSE POSITIVES for businesses.
Basically, you might get accused of being trans and kicked out, because of the badge. You say: I wear the badge because trans rights matter.
You follow up with a letter to the business saying you're fucking furious because some nosy dipshit just tried to play fucking genital police with you in the loos. You know lots of trans people (don't name any, if you do) and you wear the pin in support and you're disgusted at them for allowing this.
Blame the business for allowing the behaviour.
Businesses see that their cis customers are getting bothered over a badge and may clarify trans-inclusive policies, so they can kick out the bathroom botherers instead of nice cis allies.
You only need to buy and wear the badge, and you are protecting trans people. You can be genuinely heroic. Even one cis person doing this helps, and everyone you get to join in helps even more.

For those who don't know: Ikumi Nakamura is the woman who was senior artist on Bayonetta, and designed the titular character along with Hideki Kamiya. Their greatest moment of bonding was over their insistence that Bayonetta keep her glasses on at all times. Nakamura cannot go to horny jail. She is the warden.
Happy pride month to her and her exclusively
