Lucifer x Lilith's angel caretaker? Idk what else to call them but basically the angel that watches over and cares for Lilith while she's trapped in Heaven.
While watching over her they nervously talk with her at first, unsure if they should or not. But then they get more comfortable to talk with her more and more, then eventually they start developing a crush and Lilith notices, whether she continues to chat with them or tries to save them from falling as well could be up in the air but eventually others notice the angel's odd behavior and thoughts and have them fall.
Maybe Lucifer saves them from the fall or meets them in the hotel, the only one that can see the scars from the fall, scars that look very familiar to him on bad days.
Awww I love this! I'm two ways about it actually!
Caretaker!reader is very loyal in my mind. When you make a vow or an oath, you keep it. And you were sworn to take care of Lilith no matter what! And more than that, you considered her a dear friend (as well as the slow-burn love you've developed for her over time... but there's no way you could admit it to her face) 🥺 and her to you in return
And I imagined either:
A) you stand up for her when she defies heaven, speaking in favor of her and swearing that you won't let any harm come to her as long as she is under your care, no matter how much heaven threatens you too... and you are cast out together.
Or B) heaven decides to relinquish Lilith and allow her to return to hell to be with her family... and you beg to go with her. You beg Lilith, the court, even Sera herself. You'd even beg the speaker if you had to. It was your duty to look after the queen until she released you, after all! You had to be by her side always! (Not only that... But you admittedly couldn't bear the thought of never seeing her again...)
Heaven begrudgingly accepts to let you go with her, much to yours and Lilith's joy.
And I like to imagine when you get there Lucifer's like "uhh... and who are you?? 🤨" Why does my wife have an angel trailing behind her like a puppy??? That's my job!!
And you puff out your chest with as much pride to rival him. "I am her highness' personal caretaker! Until she releases me, I am sworn to look after her!"
Lucifer gives a puzzled look to his wife. He could give her a million caretakers with the snap of his fingers. But she seemed to favor you specifically.
Meanwhile Lilith is just looking at you fondly like ahh aren't they just the sweetest~? ☺️

@somesleepyfreak's miraculous art caused me to realize that I would happily read an entire Regency romance about Ganondorf and his beautiful hair. Perhaps this is what that story might look like...
Oh dear! You’ve mysteriously been transported to a Regency-era version of Hateno Village. Thankfully, Link swiftly rescues you from an awkward situation in a pumpkin patch. He’ll need to report your appearance to Princess Zelda; but, in the meantime, he suggests that you stay at the country estate of a certain handsome but proud gentleman. ( 1k words, also on AO3 )
.
You do not, as a general principle, expect to awaken in a field. Yet when your consciousness returns, you find your cheek pressed against a pumpkin. It’s a beautiful pumpkin, as warm and mellow as the morning sunlight falling onto the freshly tilled earth; but it is not your pumpkin, and this is not your field. You have no idea how you came to be here.
Panic would be undignified. You sit up slowly and survey your surroundings. The pastoral landscape is almost aggressively picturesque. Low hills roll in the distance, and the sky is so brilliantly blue that it feels like a painting. The roads twining through the fields are lined with cozy cottages adorned with sloping red-tiled roofs. You are misplaced, it seems, but something about the landscape is oddly familiar.
“It can’t be,” you say to no one in particular. “Is this Hateno Village?”
It is at this moment that you are discovered.
You turn, expecting a farmer. Instead, you behold a young man of striking composure. His tailored jacket is of fine make, as are his riding boots. At his side hangs a sword that appears sincerely intended for use. His hair, fair and loosely bound at the nape, frames his face with a subtle halo as it catches the light.
He regards you with curiosity. “Have you some business with these pumpkins?” he asks.
You consider this. “I have never seen these pumpkins before in my life.”
He nods, as though this confirms his assumption. “Are you injured?”
“Only in my understanding of the events that brought me here.”
He steps closer, his expression attentive but not intrusive. “Your attire…” Here he pauses, evidently choosing not to remark upon the state of your clothing, which you appreciate. “…suggests you did not come to Hateno Village by ordinary means.”
“I’m not sure what the ordinary means of arriving here might be,” you reply, “but I assure you I did not employ them.”
He nods, as though this were to be expected. “In any case, it’s always a pleasure to see a new face in Hateno. My name is Link,” he offers.
“Of course it is,” you answer. You would be lying if you said that you hadn’t recognized him immediately.
He considers you for a moment longer. “There is an estate not far from this field. Its master will not thank me for bringing a stranger unannounced, but he won’t turn away someone in need. I’d like to invite you to accompany me there. Unless, of course, you prefer your current accommodations.”
You hesitate, but only briefly. In the end, you accept the hand Link offers. “Lead on,” you say. “I’ve always wondered what it would be like to impose upon a reluctant aristocrat.”
As you approach the estate, the road widens and smooths underfoot. Through the elegantly trimmed trees, you can see the house rising with a restrained grandeur, but it is the figure approaching along the drive who commands your attention.
He sits with effortless authority on a horse whose black coat has been brushed to an impeccable sheen. His long and beautiful hair streams behind him with a theatricality that would be insufferable were it not so thoroughly deserved. As he draws nearer, you find yourself confronted with a countenance both handsome and severe.
“Link,” he says, his voice edged with displeasure, “you’ve returned later than expected. And who is this you’ve brought with you, precisely?”
“And good morning to you too. I found this person in the eastern fields,” Link explains. “They appear to have come to Hyrule by unusual means. I thought it prudent to bring their arrival to your attention.”
“Prudent? It was nothing of the sort,” the rider replies. “My household is not a refuge for every curiosity who wanders in from the countryside.”
You know this man. You have, in fact, defeated him any number of times. Should it be your fate to fight him again, you are aware of his weaknesses, and intimately so. You have no skill with a sword, it’s true; but you have contrived all manner of devices to aid in your battles, from catapults to rocket pogos to glitches capable of phasing him into walls. When it comes to the Demon King, it must be said that you have more cheese than Hateno itself.
You meet Ganondorf’s gaze without flinching, for you have nothing to fear. “I assure you,” you say, “that I did not wander into the vicinity of your estate by my own preference. Had I known that your hospitality was so unaccommodating, I would have made every effort to be spirited away to a more welcome destination.”
His brow lifts, just slightly. “You are impertinent.”
“I am disoriented,” you correct. “Impertinence is merely a side effect.”
Link, you notice, is watching this exchange with interest. “Princess Zelda should be informed,” he cuts in. “If this person’s arrival is indeed unusual, she will wish to know of it. Until then, they cannot be left without shelter.”
Ganondorf exhales with the air of a man who has long suffered the necessity of conceding to a superior rival. “Very well,” he says. “They may remain. Temporarily. Until Zelda decides what is to be done.”
You make an attempt at a polite smile. “How reassuring. I have always wished to be decided upon.”
Ganondorf’s eyes linger on you. “See that you do not regret this,” he says, the merest suggestion of amusement in his tone. He dismounts with easy grace and extends his hand. He is, you realize, offering to accompany you.
And it is then, in the fresh light of a morning that promises to bloom into a beautiful day, that you realize your predicament has acquired a certain charm. Your circumstances are still unexplained, and your fate is still uncertain. Nevertheless, as you walk in the company of a proud man who is willing, however reluctantly, to be amused, you cannot help but think that the mystery of your sudden appearance in Hyrule may prove even more entertaining than you had dared to hope.
