Trying dark academia hairstyles on my kinky hair
Scenes from Shibden Hall, from our visit last week. I haven’t been here since I was a child, I still love the sloping beams, giant creaking floorboards and dark wood-panelled rooms. So many corners had me imagining Anne Lister and Ann Walker spending time here: a tiny table for two in the top bedroom, a fireside seat in the dining room, the hidden library in the tower, the secret passageway between attic rooms 🤎

These are surprisingly easy to make and amazing-not-amazing how white evangelicals never seem to mention the huge amount of biblical passages about how the white supremacist capitalist police state they worship is so thoroughly anti-christian
Jesus was a straight up socialist pass it on.
Looks as if it has grown out of the rock, this fortress-like boarding school complex designed by the Swiss post-war architect Otto Glaus, as wonderfully as the imposing exposed concrete building blends in with the steep slopes of the Swiss village of Chur. This project is the first of a whole series of brutalist “castles” that we want to present to you this week.

In July, we showed you the Church of the Immaculate Conception from Orșova with a cross-shaped skylight in the ceiling construction. Here, we found another example from Vienna with a similiar idea. This time, the cross-window reaches down the walls to the floor.

As of June 9th, this one still hasn’t met its target.
I like when an article thumbnail features a pic of a woman conductor, as it is the closest I will get to living in a world where newspapers write feel-good human-interest stories about a local witch who is proud to show off her new spell.

S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y! What a day! The cosplay bar has been raised, cleared, and is now well out of reach.
After playing an untitled Goose game with Captain Marvel, we came across an aesthetic, athleisure-clad Thanos, a couple of Ineffable Wives, some demons, spirits, vampires, and even some travellers all the way from Middle-Earth!
Today’s the final day of New York Comic Con—let’s get it!
