Radiostatic is toxic but in the most unusual way. They're not the "you are mine. We belong together" type of crossing boundaries toxic. Vox's domination of Alastor didn't originate from a place of lust, but from a place of low self-esteem and a crushing need for Alastor’s approval. He didn't so much as want to hurt Alastor as he did to prove himself and humiliate Alastor for how he humiliated him. And Alastor's favoritism of Vox isn't the yandere possessive type, but it comes from a sense of betrayal, an inability to trust Vox and a nostalgia for the good times they spent together. The rivalry he has with Vox is more fun for him than any sentimental conversations they might have. They're both obsessed with each other but that obsession is not connected to love or attraction in the slightest. They need each other because of the deeply rooten insecurities they're both hiding instead of some misguided belief that they're each other's soulmate or wtv.

Despite the general consensus, Vox WAS careful to respect Alastor’s boundaries in the second season. The cuck chair scene was SA but to Vox it was less about the sex and more of a show of his own victory and to embarass Alastor. For someone who gets off on other people's pain and has his cameras positioned all around hell, always watching, always keeping his eyes on everything, it probably didn't even register that watching two people have sex might be traumatising because to him watching equals control, especially since it's Alastor who doesn't bend under the most extreme torture.

Alastor knows he can't have their friendship back because he thinks it was all a lie for Vox to use him for his power, so he acts accordingly and doesn't chase Vox and contrary to popular belief, Vox doesn't exactly chase Alastor either. He's a creepy voyeuristic stalker but all three of those are independent from each other when it comes to Alastor. He's creepy because he's too loose with his touches and didn't even realize Alastor hated them. He keeps tabs on Alastor because he's cautious, not because he wants to send him love letters, he doesn't even approach Alastor until Alastor approaches him and it's clear Vox can put up a good fight if necessary. It's such a fine line to write them toxic when their toxicity originates from their inability to communicate rather than some sadistic urge to force the other in a relationship. Their flavor of toxic is so different from the toxic of Val and Amgel's dynamic or Val and Vox's dynamic. Vox wants to own Alastor so that he can own THE Radio Demon and prove Alastor wrong. And Alastor enjoys owning Vox through manipulation with which he knows he has Vox wrapped around his finger. They both respect each other whether they realize it or not.

This is kinda old, I had this sketch from like December or January and I thought it was pretty enough to give him some atttention so I added his Epic suit’s pattern on the sides because I’m telling you, I met him in August and I still can’t stop thinking about it.

I have so many drawings of him but they’re all ugly sketches so I might as well just pull my socks up and make a proper illustration one of these days ;)

I also keep thinking about when I discovered Cirice, same time I got my obsession for this man, so now they are related in my head (and it kinda fits)

fandom etiquette as a whole died when people who didn’t grow up on fandoms became stans during lockdown, yes, but why am i seeing people openly mocking fics on twitter. why am i seeing screenshots of fics with captions like “bro what is this 😭.” why am i seeing people mock fic writers for not knowing how sports or theater or college or any other organization operates in the real world.

“college is absolutely nothing like this” “why are we writing four people on the team scoring a hat trick in one game” “so tech work is nothing like this, hope that helps!”

if you don’t like a fic, and if you can’t suspend your belief enough to enjoy a fic that exaggerates or ignores real-world orgs, you don’t have to read it. you don’t have to screenshot it and put it on blast for twitter. you don’t have to post a link to it in the replies. the back button is literally there on your phone. it’s not giving baby’s first fandom anymore, it’s giving entitled asshole and it isn’t as cute as you think it is.

I swear it's been 7 years and I haven't recovered yet, I'm still confused and kinda offended by Steve's choice. IMAGINE BUCKY. He loves him and he knows he loved Peggy and he tells himself Steve did what his heart told him, but I'm sure deep down he still struggles to figure out HOW would he come back after he built his whole life in the present.
