I haven’t actually watched it because I don’t have Disney+, but I drew some WandaVision inspired Chelley!

Alright, haven’t watched WandaVision yet, since I don’t have Disney+ either, but I do know vaguely what happens. Correct me if I’m wrong, but Wanda creates like an illusion where Vision lives and the both of them get married and have a family etc. It’s like a sit-com esque setting (it starts in like the 60s and the sit-com setting slowly gets more and more modern), then things start unraveling. This is just an illusion. Vision is dead. She’s trying to cope by making a “reality” where Vision lives. I think that’s what happens??

So like just- idk, imagine this with Aperture or something, a test of whether or not you can give a human a whole life with just... illusions. Chell’s just stuck there in a setting that was all manufactured (like the Truman Show or something). That’s not Wheatley, those aren’t actual living breathing humans. She’s not really out of Aperture, and maybe she never will be. Or maybe she does one day figure out that everything is a lie - just like the cake. Who know? I don’t, lol.

While this series is a slice of life comedy (and always will be), I have much bigger plans for this series, and I will be touching on some deep topics and experiences that my friends and I have lived through.  

Things like bullying, learning self love, unrequited love, neurodiversity, recovering from trauma, abuse, and loss, breaking family patterns, and creating a better environment for the next generation are all heavily entwined aspects of these characters, and will be massive parts of their stories.  

It may get darker than you expected at times, but the moral is always being there for each other through the gunk and grime of life.  These friends in no way have a perfect life.  They do however, have a strong connection and love for each other that will see them through any adversity.  

Eva, Christy, and Abbi are based off of my friends and I and our real life stories, and we want to help people know they’re not alone.  If you’ve experienced any of the above, you are not alone.

Ah... I feel really guilty about this.

I’m really sorry, but I’ll being going on hiatus again. I’ll be going on hiatus for personal reasons. I feel like my circumstances have affected my writing and I don’t want to upload something I’m not proud of. You guys wait long enough for each update, I don’t want to disappoint you with a bad/underwhelming chapter.  I’ll try to update as soon as I can and avoid any future hiatuses for a long long time.

While I was drawing my playlist brought up Daisy Bell* and then Space Oddity - by David Bowie, and I ended up having this little idea bunny (is that what it’s called?) Be warned, this idea was mostly meant as a joke I might’ve taken too far. Either way, I wanted to share:

This was the first fully AI controlled rocket ship, a human astronaut went along in case anything went wrong and the ship had to be manually piloted. After years of preparation, the ship is finally launched into space, and... the AI instantly malfunctions. Whenever the astronaut tries to speak to the AI or tell it to do something it just starts singing Daisy Bell in response. Strangely enough, with the AI the manual controls also began malfunctioning. Luckily, the astronaut still had contact with the Mission Control and they begin hatching a plan to get him back to Earth. Meanwhile, this poor astronaut just has to deal with the AI singing Daisy Bell whenever asked a question or spoken to, sometimes it’ll randomly start singing at the absolute worst times, for example when he’s trying to sleep.

*Daisy Bell was the firsts song “sung” by a computer back in 1961. It’s one of the earliest demonstrations of speech synthesis. It was “sung” by an IBM 704. If you’re curious, you can search it up on YT and you’ll find the song.

Blue Sky’s ending absolutely destroyed me. I’m not someone easy to cry especially about fictional things, but man, that was probably one of the closest calls when it comes to fanfiction.
