I totally believe that the woman behind the mask, sunglasses and ski cap is none other than Caitriona Balfe-Heughan, aka wife of Sam Heughan. Same forehead and I wouldn’t put it past her to suit up and sit-in for a shot in the photo shoot. No one else in that photo is wearing a mask....so why would that ‘person’ choose to bundle up like it’s 40 degrees? If that person truly was a ‘rider’ in the Scottish biker bundle, the mask would have been off for the photo shoot. Not only that, I find it interesting that Sam turns around and glances back to what appears to be ‘the masked biker’. Someone mentioned why would she do that...my answer is ‘Why not’! Gotta give it to Cait...she’s got ‘moxie’! Just another drip, drip in the leaking water spigot named Sam&Cait!

I’d love to see photos of the people who say they look odd because of the way they interact with one another. I’d love to see real life photos of them and their partners where they’re caught off guard. I’d love to see if they’re constantly all over each other the way they seem to think couples should be if they’re really in love.
That just isn’t real life. What people see in Sam and Cait is two friends who are promoting a show together. I act like that with my best friend because nobody makes me laugh like she does, not even my husband. It doesn’t make my love for him or our marriage less than it actually is.
@caitrionabalfestanclub Yes, there are obviously things that we don’t know about him or their relationship. But this is what we do know.
We know he doesn’t own (or lease) the bar in Inslington any more. We know that he left a dead Xmas tree for the new owner to “enjoy”. This is not a tale spinned by “shippers”. We found out because the new owner posted it on IG.
We know that whoever managed the bar IG account didn’t keep it very active. Maybe it was him or not.
We know that he must have a pretty flexible work schedule that allows him to go with her to plenty industry events. So much so that it gave the impression that he either worked for her at some point or still does. One wonders why she has never mentioned it when talking about his accomplishments (embarrassed?).
We know that when he is at said events he doesn’t appear to be paying much attention to her. We saw him widely smile and hug S at the British Baftas, happily partake with Cree while waiting for his fiancée (now wife) to be done with interviews so we know he is not “that shy”. Yet, when it comes to C and him, there is not much PDA. Whatever that means.
We know that she got married to him on August 10th.
We know that her relationship with S (until very recently) was incredibly flirtatious to the point that even people in the industry believed they were together. I follow many actors who play each other’s romantic interest in shows and I have never seen anything of the like.
So yes, we might not know how he is when he snuggles up in bed with her after her 14 hr days of shooting but what it’s out there for us to see (same for everybody, shippers and non-shippers alike) is very telling.
@loveisloveislove76 we also know that it was her friend, Dr Colbert, that had to steady a rather tipsy Caitríona from the car to fans waiting outside their hotel after the GG celebrations, as her fiancé (as he was then) strode past her straight in to the building. Perhaps he needed the loo urgently.

H is in or has been in Glasgow. The pic of the wall art wasn’t something she googled and took a screenshot of. The fact that she took it down speaks volumes as well. People made excuses for the pic last Aug when they were def holding hands and now trying to explain this away too. Other than Gia, there have not been any proof of others since last summer.

I was organizing stuff and came across these postings by Cait’s hair stylist of the same photo but posted on 2 different dates. The one on August 18, 2015 mentioned her as Caitriona Balfe. The one posted on December 11, 2015 also mentioned her as Caitriona Balfe but also added these words “You rock Mrs”. It’s interesting that about 2 weeks before there seemed to be a flurry of activity when supposedly SC and their friends were in London. That was also the time when Luke posted that poker table and then Sam tweeted the celebratory macaroons, after which both Sam and Caitriona posted what looked like the same property. Sam tweeted the celebratory macaroons to Caitriona on December 2, 2015. Don’t know what they were celebrating.

Celebratory macaroons right after the celebration in London where the friends gathered. I remember the Saturday of that weekend Abbie S. posting she had to work extra hard in spin class that morning because she would be drinking plenty of celebratory red wine that evening. The most telling pic is #4; C is sitting next to T (who is sitting next to his very good friend) in the row behind S, she feels unwell; who looks, gets up and comes round to talk to her; not T, he barely moves his head, but S stands with C and appears concerned. Which one on this showing is the husband/boyfriend/partner/whatever?

I believe the top left originally had the caption ‘When two become one’ and the bottom left is a picture of Claire agreeing to become one with Jamie…I’m unsure of where the top right photo was taken but the bottom right is at the Standing Stones. The Standing Stones are positioned in a circle. What does a circle represent? Wholeness, one, unity, love, commitment. A circle also repeats on itself like a continuum, a marker of time, an anniversary. 21st November 2015…a Saturday…maybe…um…Oh Matt…you beautiful soul…and what do you know…Sam liked it…

I believe the top left was when the show was renewed for a second season. The top right was a BTS from episode 3 in the church or “kirk” yard.
I do think that the end of November is a special time for Sam and Cait and evidently Matt, too. Sweet happy times for shippers.

So I was watching the Facebook Live 2017 Q&A for the 31424th time, and while it’s probably my favorite interview of them, I suddenly felt the “Friends Only” vibe. They do seem like the best of friends in this Q&A (and probably very drunk/tired/jet legged/all of the above). So I though, maybe they were telling the truth all along, maybe we do see what we so desperately want to see but they really are just very close friends?

Sam’s own comment….when Laura Donnelly (who played Jamie’s sister) first auditioned for OL….she auditioned for the role of Claire. But Sam rejected the idea of Laura playing Claire and having to do those revealing sex scenes with her….saying (now get this)….that she was an old friend and like a sister and he wouldn’t be able to do that. So she didn’t get the role.
Friends…..best friends. Any couple, if they’re still a couple, began their relationship as friends….unless it was an arranged marriage, which we all know theirs wasn’t. So I don’t have an issue with the ‘ best friends ‘ comments. However, the brother/sister theory reminds me to much of Angelina Jolie kissing her brother on the lips…..🤢
