AXOLOTL CARE SHEET Finally!
I love axolotls so much, they are cool and native from my country.
They are so cool researchers can transplant an axolotl’s head into another axolotl’s body and it’ll just attach itself, they can also transplant limbs and they’ll just attach, also if you cut a tissue from a leg and then place it on an arm, it’ll grow there and be functional. Can you imagine a super villain axolotl character? Feel free to add information or correct me if I’m wrong.
i'd say a 20 gallon for the minimum tank size. anything smaller would be pretty cramped
rocks *larger than the axolotls head* are a suitable substrate, but you do have to be careful because they will eat smaller rocks
hiding places are a ***necessity*** for your axolotl to thrive. plants, tubes, or other furnishing is great. they're prey animals they'll get stressed if they're in the open Let Them Hide
earthworms and nightcrawlers both have a Calcium:Phosphorus ratio of around 1.5:1 so they're an ideal staple food, but a varied diet is always good! they should be fed one about every 3 days as adults
all water should be treated with water treatment
