The fact in the movie that Carl the guard made such a connection with Grace in their short time together, do you wonder how he felt in that moment? Like in the book he's just a guard.

Not much focus on him compared to the others going into space with Grace in the book but like. The way he seemed to start to enjoy the goofy ways they'd get the materials and just be there despite their possible future extinction. Just being silly simply throwing tape into the cart to going and playing little games like bowling and dunking. Like Grace even named a hypothesis after him. Carl helped Grace think of how to recover the astrophage.

How do you think Carl felt having to help get Grace after he tried to run from being forced into a suicide mission. How do you think he felt after they left orbit. As the earth got colder and colder and the possibility someone he bonded with for such a sort but visceral time was sent to die for nothing. We see Strat still alive at the end of the movie, something we dont even get from the book. But what about Carl. Did he die with an uncertain future? Wondering if Grace was still out there before they got the beatles back which showed them what was happening to him before Grace decided to MAKE the choice to die if it meant saving Rocky and his planet?

HELP AFFORD BLOOD TESTS AND OTHER TESTS

Been trying to raise enough to cover medical expenses for my partner, we got $80 but because I wasn't online, paypal makes an automatic transfer after midnight and now it's stuck until monday.

He's had fevers as high as 39.5°C, we keep using damp towels to keep it down or helping him take showers, he's been throwing up everything, even water, teas and serums. He is getting treatment! Thank you!!!

We're running out of food and in running out of energy, I've been having a perpetual headache from the lack of sleep from having to care for him, our kids and his parents all by myself while chronically ill. URGENT!!!

I'm lucky my left leg hasn't dislocated as it usually does.

I was feeling better since I've had my safe foods and medication for over a week but this dream will soon end and I can't even enjoy this little victory because my partner is sick and there is no diagnosis until we get his labs done.

I'm exhausted, our kids are afraid. His apnea combined with the high fevers has made it even more difficult for him to breathe. And if that wasn't enough he keeps having feverish nightmares recalling the house fire where he lost his grandma.

I can tell he is weakening by the day from the lack of food and dehydration.

Please, with $100 we could cover his labs and transportation and then when the other $80 drop I hope it's enough for his treatment.

We also need this very urgently cause the neighbor will cut us off of his wifi this monday and we will have to afford own which i think it's like $100 plus start paying the monthly bill.

We got a little over $100, it was enough to get the very expensive antibiotic and other expensive medicine, I was short of $20 to get the other 2 medicines.

And our neighbor finally cut us off of the wifi, now we need to get our own because I tried going back to the internet cafe and I got groped by the owner, idk about you all but I just don't feel like going back there.
