 Things is a new collection of poetry exploring themes of anxiety, loss, and depression while analyzing the different faces these themes can manifest within each of us. Broken sentences, simple shapes, and misaligned phrases gather in a symphony of lyrical melodies to show how we communicate our anxieties and doubts without even realizing the stories we tell.

Rock formations that chisel the scenery. Suffocating the landscape. Greenery turns to mulch after you arrive to take what I have cultivated, take what I have grown and sown and take what never belonged to you. You burden me. Mountain of salt licked clean with spite. Anger fuels the strokes between tender tips and elongated moans, I dabble between little deaths and shortness of breaths that seem to moor me on shaky shores.
