Letter to myself.
An interview.
A review.
What was I doing at this time last year?
99 things that make me happy.
Look out your window.
To the ghost lying beside me in this queen bed-
tell me what im supposed to do:
as i try to sleep in another sleepless city,
only kept awake by the thought of you.
.88 - jigsaw
i am fucked up pieces sown together, someone hard to love: winter and ice and harsh cutting winds a bitch, a bitch, a bitch until spring came and someone bothered to try: working carefully to mind the stitches, of personalities, experiences, and trauma and loved, and loved, and loved.
So as it was previously mentioned, I'm selling not just one, but two versions of my latest poem anthology (April Showers: Poems for reading on the toilet, or wherever else you fancy. ) on Amazon.
Version one is for the Kindle.
Version two is a paperback.
But KG, you cry out, I don't own a Kindle but I still want to support you in a small way! That's cool! Here's a pdf lol. If you want to throw me some coffee or cash, that's cool too, but this is all already free on tumblr and Medium anyway, so... yeah ^^;
Thank you for your support!
Yes, the rumors are true! I am working on a book. A poetry book. Yes, it'll be featuring all the poems I've written for NaPoWriMo/National Poetry Month. If all goes well, it should be available at the end of the week!

.87 - 30 Day Poetry Challenge , day 30
Write a poem employing extended metaphor to illustrate the experience of the last thirty days.
thirty days of writing
even if only poems- seemed frightening
words typed fast just like lightning,
an accomplishment- ego perhaps heightening
although time wasn’t always at my bidding
at least thirty poems are done now,
a poem for each day i’ve been living.
.86 - 30 Day Poetry Challenge , day 29
Briefly research a poetic form of your choice and write a poem according to the rules of that particular form.
lines: five, seven, five
seems easy, but the meaning
lies underneath them.
.85 - 30 Day Poetry Challenge , day 28
Visit a virtual art gallery and look around until you find a piece that intrigues you. Write a poem inspired by the artwork. [[I’ve chosen to focus on the Murillo Self-Portraits from the Frick Collection’s Virtual Exhibit]]
they say a selfie is selfish
but i see nothing wrong
with personal documentation
of the physical form.
do you not keep a diary, old man?
do you not preen in the mirror, old woman?
why do they seek youth
just to shame it.
there is an art to the selfie
from oil paintings,
to snapchat filters.
.84 - 30 Day Poetry Challenge , day 27
Begin with the title “The Poem I’d Never Write.” Then, write that poem.
The Poem I’d Never Write The poem I’d never write cannot exist because I don’t have a head or a brain or eyes or a nose it’s mostly because I am dead. Dearly deceased and wholly departed from the physical plane to the next a course to the river Styx has been charted but I am still largely at unrest. The poem I’d never write cannot be written but can be spoken this particular cycle of telling stories is a hard human habit to end up broken. The living say death is the longest silence and to that I profoundly disagree since I got here, absolutely no one’s been quiet an eternity with raconteur wannabes.
.83 - 30 Day Poetry Challenge , day 26
i feel all cut up
inside and outside are scars
one day i will heal.
.82 - 30 Day Poetry Challenge , day 25
Write a poem that includes all of the following words: pistachio, ink, pebble, weather, varnish.
i spot you, and feel my heart quicken in fear:
eyes the color of pistachio
with pebble-like teeth
and drool settling on the corners on your lips like varnish.
it’s hot and muggy suddenly,
i’m dizzy from this emotional weather
“what are you?”
your voice is slimy like ink:
“Jealousy.”
.81 - 30 Day Poetry Challenge , day 24
Write a poem that’s different in some way from anything you’ve ever written. Take a chance! Be wild! [[I thought I could do an ABC poem. I’m not sure if I accomplished that]]
An Open Letter To My Exes Who Wanted Another Chance (and To Other Dudes Who Wanted To Date Me, Despite The Fact That I Showed Zero Interest, Repeatedly.)
At any given moment
Before you should even ask, take
Caution, and
Don’t think that
Even though I have permanent bitchface,
Falsely believe that it’s a front and that I actually secretly want to talk with you, I don’t-
-Give a damn, so go to
Hell
I hope I don’t have to repeat myself,
Just so you
Know
Leave.
Me. alone.
No thank you.
Oh my god not again
Please? (wait, this shouldn’t even be a
Question!) it’s a
REQUEST
Stop
Texting me
Ultimately I’m just as bad
Very often playing and ploying along out of boredom
wyd? showering without me? ;)
Xerosis is how you make me feel haha what
(Yet… admittedly I did give a second chance, just to one:
Zaffre)
