why it is going to be okay
the darkest of nights make the stars shine the brightest
when the clouds obscure the sky, the stars are still there
just as the moon is always there as a beacon
and she is still there as she goes through her phases
it might be harder to see, but you can still keep moving through the landscapes as you would if the sun was shining
as you move forward, you will find others just like you who are reminders that you are never alone
and when you find them, holding onto each other and finding even a few seconds of solace are enough to remind you hope is still out there
hope is never truly gone or lost just because it is hard to see in this moment in time
when you look up to the glimmering stars or around at your chosen family, you know why it is going to be okay with time:
even the darkest and longest nights eventually come to an end

Today is a "First, let's consolidate all these half finished to-do lists into one new list" sort of day.
i. carry extra middle fingers in your pockets ii. keep extra swears under your tongue iii. wear the fat like an armor iv. make your skin slippery v. learn to divert your mind vi. have the attention span of a goldfish when people tease you vii. learn to keep a scowl as your neutral expression viii. learn to be the funniest in a group ix. be so damn loud with your words that they can’t hear your thighs rub each other x. learn not to take everything personally, even when it is personal
