I think people who think of Goblin Slayer as cheap, mindless fun (or worse) aren’t giving it quite enough credit. Sure, it primarily sells itself on its violence against goblins, making it look like a very black-and-white gore-fest of a dark fantasy story… but there’s a bit more to it than that under the messy, bloody surface.
