You don't know, how right you are! Way too similar. There were no romance planned between Yangchen and Kavik, fans ship them because they want to.

Just like zutara.

And now seriously – I don't like yangvik as a pairing. They are both great characters, they are amazing as friends but as a romantic pair... Ugh, not my cup of tea at all. All this love/hate thing is really uncomfortable.

But it could not be compared to the hate I feel for zutara.
