Like out of a modern-day Disney remake thatβll never be better than the original, you remember who you are. You know what youβre doing. You live in Sburbia, a city in California. You do something for a living. Definitely something. Or you Donβt. And you live somewhere. (Probably.) And you haveβ¦ a face? Of some kind.
Maybe youβre still processing all this information. Thatβs fine, you tell yourself, even though you were starting to think that maybe it wasnβt just fine. But, whatever, itβs fine.
What do you know though is that, recently, youβve been having these really weird dreams. You donβt know whatβs up with that, but, hey, it doesnβt bug you all that much. Itβs not like itβll somehow become some huge thing in your life youβre going to have to confront along with all of the people youβre going to meet on some big, elaborate web forum, right? Right.
Oh, looks like you have a message.
Itβs not actually a message, you wingnut! Itβs a notification fromβ¦ PesterTrollianβ’? You donβt even use that chat client. Or you do and you just donβt remember, but you only really started existing a few minutes ago! Or did you? The childhood memories are really hard to balance with your knowledge of only having become self-aware a minute ago? Huhβ¦ Well, the software already has your info logged in, which you watch the computer type in by itself. A pop-up appears on your screen, a prompt flashing before you.
Well, thereβs no x at the corner of the pop-up and, after some inspection, you realize that, no, you canβt just turn your computer off. Seems like the only way is forward, so says a philosopher you thought you remembered the name of but probably just made up in the back of your mind. That sounded like something a philosopher would say, anyway. Socrates, Plato, they all just say the same thing anyway! Whatever! Just go for it.
PesterTrollianβ’ is an 18+ roleplay server based in Discord fixated on an AU in which the game ended and, instead of just stepping into Earth C, everyone (and I mean everyone, dead or alive) found themselves reliving a brand new life. The twist? No one remembers the game. All the trolls and human live in the same place, cohabitating a planet thatβs a mix of Earth and Alternia. After years of war between the two races, two decades ago found them living in unsteady peace. Now, as the present ticks by, your journey is navigating the strange dreams youβve been having as well as weathering a sudden invitation you canβt deny to a certain forum you canβt leave. All you know is you woke up one day and suddenly chums and trolls flooded your friendsβ list and youβre in a forum filled primarily with people also located in your cityβ Sburbia. People youβve never really talked to. Or so you thought. Can you slowly piece together whatβs going on in your head? And, for a certain few of you, what are these strange abilities youβre developing? Time to figure it out.
For now! The only way to apply is through Tumblr. However, once all of the mods are aware and ready, weβll open it up so people can apply in the group. This doesnβt guarantee you will get the part! But it does provide another option if applying over Tumblr is an issue/if you have a bunch of questions and need more clarity before you apply. <3 Until then, though, feel free to drop reserves in the ask box and send in an application if youβre interested!
