multiply disabled trans dyke, lifelong abuse survivor, about to lose $200 of the monthly income I rely on from my abusive family because they feel I spent too much of their money (all getting refunded to them via insurance soon) replacing half my stuff after a house fire that consumed most of my time and mental health over the last 3 months while my landlord repeatedly gaslighted and dismissed me about actually cleaning up an apartment full of soot.
I’ve just moved in with my gf who only makes $9 part time, and I’m still very much struggling to get to a headspace where I can work again after being thoroughly traumatized by last two jobs (the last involved unexpectedly having to flag hundreds of videos of brutal violence for sensitive content) and ongoing emotional abuse/gaslighting by my family.
We have no car, no savings, no supportive family and a very limited local support network. I’m trying as hard as I can to find some kind of manageable part-time work locally and/or do entry-level transcription for about $5 an hour, but I’m not really doing well enough to be working at all right now.
We need money for food, transportation, and bills we can’t keep up with. We both chronically undereat and underestimate our expenses. It looks like we’re still at least $300 short for this month.
