I like the idea that Bruce found out Jason was alive not because of some dramatic reveal or anything but just cause he got back from patrol one night and Jason was causualy as fuck in the manor looking through the fridge.
Like Bruce passes the kitchen on the way up to his room and at first he thinks it's Tim or perhaps Dick came over at some point, but then something in his tired brain clicks and he's like "Wait.." And then rushes back to the kitchen doorway.
Lo and behold, there is his son, his precious baby boy he thought was gone forever, tears start to build in his eyes as he gazes at the child he watched die in his arms, his little boy looks so different but he's still that boy from all those years ago, Bruce can tell, a father can always tell. And as mascara runs down Bruce's face, Jason opens his mouth to speak, the first words Bruce will hear from his son in years..
"You're out of milk"
I love when people write Jason and Bruce so painfully alike but neither of them realizes
Ofc they have different personalities and stuff but it’s the little things that matter
For example being oblivious about how hot people find them
Like Bruce gets that people love Brucie, but he thinks it’s mostly for his personality and it’s confused to why would they keep acting weird around him when he is being himself
While Jason is just confused in general, if he post something his comments keep saying weird encrypted things like “raw. Next question” or “on the table or the wall” and honestly doesn’t have a clue what’s wrong with his fandom

I kinda headcannon that Jason will sleep everywhere, except on a bed. He'll only sleep on a bed if he's taking a nap, or being threatened by Alfred to rest when injured.
Even then, it'll be in intervals of 2-3 hours.
He and Tim have a silent agreement of the more comfortable sleeping places, as they both have horrible habits.
Over breakfast, Bruce has heard more than one coversation in line of:
"Hey, I slept in the closet you mentioned last time, at-"
"-at Wayne Tower? Yea, the vent there heats the room up real nice."
"Yea, I found the blanket you left there last, Superboy theme ..really?"
"Oh! That's where it was."
"Please you two. Just sleep in a bed."
"No"
"No"
The Black Sheep.
He's so babygirl, he's so Frankenstein's monster, he's so doomed by the narrative, he's so haunting the narrative, the narrative is so haunting him back, he's so pure-hearted, he's rotting from within, he's so vengeful, he's so unavenged, he's the night, he's the cold unforgiving light of day, he's so hateful, he's so loving, he's a curse on this earth forced to live through his murder, he's been blessed with a second chance, he's a corrupted anti-hero, he's an innocent child, he's so wet cat, he's so feral dog, he's so utilitarian, his fatal flaw is that he can't stop caring, he's the lever through which the narrative breaks down, he's a prisoner caged inside it, he's the victim, he's the murderer, he's the only witness to the crime, he's such an original character, he's Dick Grayson turned Gwen Stacey turned Bucky Barnes turned Isaac turned prodigal son turned Medea turned another white bat boy with black hair and blue eyes, he's so rewritten and retconned, he's so ship of theseus, he's just another man with a gun, he's the bad victim forcing his way out of the fridge, he's nothing, he's everything, he's the line between criminal and vigilante that isn't a line at all because they're the same thing, he's the martyr, he's the cautionary tale, he's the outsider, he's the one at the root of the problem, he's so badly written, he's the most compelling character, he's a paradox.
wdym jason todd had to have a closed casket funeral bc he looked like this 😭 🙏
