Okay but why do people think Miles Morales is dumb? Sure, he's had his awkward moments, but he's a kid (14-15 years old). Both spider verse movies make it very clear that he's still very smart, especially for his age. He knew all of the answers to his test (the fact that he was smart enough to know all the answers but not smart enough to realize that a 0% score would look suspicious shows how complex he is), is studying quantum physics, tricked nearly the entire spider society by luring them away, and used the Go Home Machine all on his own despite having basically no prior knowledge on how it works. Having some goofy moments and making mistakes that are normal for a kid his age doesn't make him dumb overall or undermine his smart moments
I'm hetero but I have a tendency to fetishize gay male characters sometimes and I hate it. I know it's a sin, but also even the gay community would be mad at me for fettishizing them. It's like a lose, lose situation on every side. Pray for me if you have a moment. ♡
You know I remember a moment I held Shiro (from Voltron) at an idol position.
I would draw him, I would read fan fictions on him, lots of other things… *ahem*
Anyways, when I came stronger in my faith I told God I’d choose him over Shiro if I had to.
And guess what. God put me to the test.
Shiro came out as gay and I was DEVASTATED. But I knew I had to let it go. I couldn’t worship sin. I couldn’t accept him, I had to let him go.
So I chose God over Shiro.
Here’s the thing; interests come and go, they’ll change overtime, but God will always stay the same. He’ll always be there.
Thinking about it, I’m pretty sure my ancestors would be horrified with me.
Not because I’m lazy or unworthy or anything like that…
…but because one of my distant uncles was among the eight survivors of the Essex, the ship that inspired the ending of Moby Dick and sank after being rammed by a whale, and what do I fuckin do after my bloodline has this Ordeal at Sea?

You have to let people love you. You have to let people get to know you. You have to let people help you.
