Dmitri Cavander (American b.1969), Ferry 5, 2024, Oil on canvas
I knew immediately this is a ferry to the San Juans where I live, and indeed on his instagram, the artist tagged Orcas Island as the location!
his other pieces in this series are so lovely. that's exactly how the light hits the benches in real life. really beautifully captured.
Photo I took on the same route a few weeks ago. He nailed it.
I really like when Crowley pretends to be a guy. Like in s8e23 he went on that whole ass date with Jody. Like he didn't need to actually do the date. But he did. And of course Father Crowley in s11e2. He gets so into it. He's like a goddamn theater kid who went to business school. He's clearly having so much fun conniving and scheming. Its like enrichment for him.

Pick one of my favorite little details/thoughts/opinions on 15x13 "Destiny's Child"
So much bullshit was happening in this episode
Ruby and Anael's plot makes zero sense, they just wanted Genevieve and 1)
Buckleming's insistence that Jack didn't understand what he did to Mary 2)
At least, I got to see Rachel Miner
Cas looked so happy when he thought that he met Meg 😢
Jack is eating so much stuff and is trying to enjoy his life because he's 3)
SuperCorp Sam and Dean are like caricature characters from the era 4)
We got so many bts stuff from this ep - jarpad forgetting his lines, jackles' 5)
Cas, just a few hours after talking about irreparable damage Jack killing Mary 6
Billie/Empty is toxic yuri
This episode's only saving grace is that it has a lot of cute tfw moments
There's no hetero explanation to the pizza man montage. None.
1)(Ruby and Anael's plot makes zero sense, they just wanted Genevieve and) Danneel to have a scene together, and that pisses me off so much.
2)(Buckleming's insistence that Jack didn't understand what he did to Mary) and didn't blame himself at all is so fucking dumb, I need to fistfight them about this.
3)(Jack is eating so much stuff and is trying to enjoy his life because he's) planning on killing himself :)
4)(SuperCorp Sam and Dean are like caricature characters from the era) when people still used the word "metrosexual". Jackles and jarpad's acting choices in this ep is a hate crime.
5)(We got so many bts stuff from this ep - jarpad forgetting his lines, jackles') joke about his asshole. Also, not bts, but still important - George W. Butch meme.
6)(Cas, just a few hours after talking about irreparable damage Jack killing Mary) did to their family: I need to ask Jack to kill me :)

A small supernatural family🪽
learning how to drive in america is like a fucking saw trap.
hello teenager. in front of you is a 2 ton chevy trailerblazer. you can either start driving, putting yourself and those around you in immediate danger, along with causing you great anxiety, or you can spend your life aaking your friends and family to chauffeur you around town because you cant go butt fuck no where without a car. if you choose to drive, you will have to spend your life paying mandatory microtransactions for a mode of transport you hate. if you dont, you will have to ride the almost nonexistent public transport system and/or put yourself in grave danger by riding a bicycle down a 45 mph stroad. if you complain to anyone in your life about learning to drive a car, you get acid poured onto you. good luck.
One of the most photogenic tornadoes in history

I'm back
just saw a chair so photogenic I had to reevaluate my feelings towards plastic furniture
do you see this. beyond ridiculous
what are our thoughts
I understand your feelings for the chair robin crabussy
unpost this right now you strange strange man
I hired a wizard to cast png on it. effervescent
This is the Monobloc chair! It's one of the first mass-produced, injection-molded plastic chairs, and the speed and cheapness of its manufacture made it affordable for everyone (unlike earlier plastic chairs, which were largely art pieces for the wealthy—see Panton's cantilever chair).
It's a perfect marriage of form and function: durable, stackable, comfortable, and—yes—beautiful. The Monobloc's immense popularity has made it so ubiquitous that its beauty is now taken for granted, but it was very much designed with the philosophy that even cheap things should be beautiful.
