So after Goose's response today about the characters names I thought I'd share my own little theory.

I think Pomni's real name is Jane after Jane Foole, who was the first female jester.

There isn't really any evidence to this other than knowing that Goose looovess to put this kind of random fun facts and subtle hints in the show. Best example is Caine, whose name is a refrence to the Bible, an acronym and also spells out ENIAC backwards, which was the name of the first computer.

An another thing we know now that Christine for Pomni is definitely not canon since it's like the most popular one, and Goose said she only saw one person guessing Pomni's name right. Although tbh I haven’t seen anyone having the headcanon that, Pomni's real name would be Jane or making the connection to Jane Foole, but maybe it just escaped my attention.🤷‍♀️

Also there goes so much thought and detail into everything within this show, including the names, that I highly doubt that it wouldn’t apply to the "in real life names" of the characters.
