the fucked up thing about going "the children think of the children" in the face of genocide is that sparing the children only is STILL GENOCIDE. think of native americans families who were torn apart, think of vietnamese and korean children shipped to the usa for adoption- the survivors are only given a chance because they can be more easily assimilated, wiped of everything their parents cared for.
