So yes it seems logical to think that Tyler was planning a mass shooting and that by taking Alex’s picture down he’s thinking of sparing his life, however where did the gun that Alex shot himself come from? I don’t think it came from his dad, I don’t think it was Tyler who shot him, I think it was the gun Justin took from his home. It makes sense when Zach calls Alex back after a text, but it wasn’t Alex on the line, it was Justin. Earlier in the episode it shows Zach ignoring a call from Justin while playing a board game with his sister, it would make sense that if Justin wanted to contact Zach he would need to use someone else’s phone. Justin was probably with Alex after the rest of his friends didn’t pick up his calls, after Jessica’s break up, after confronting Bryce… and Alex probably saw the gun and saw an opportunity to end it, or maybe he thought the gun was unloaded and pulled the trigger anyway?
