It has been a great weekend for my non-F1 drivers (excluding Rashid)!

Célia Martin became the first woman to outright win in GT2 European Series on her series debut, Kenzo Craigie got pole for all three races, three podiums and two race wins in Round 2 of E4, and Seb Wheldon started on pole for Race 2 in Round 6 of FREC following another driver's penalty and converted it to a race win.

This leaves Rashid and Seb fighting closely for the FREC title with two rounds to go (joint 2nd with a 13 point disadvantage), and Kenzo leading the E4 rookie title as well as competing for the overall title (2nd with a 16 point disadvantage).

🗣️: "you mentioned a few times that how george russell helped you and gave you a lot of guidance throughout your career and he sees a bit of himself in you. so, what do you think are the similarities between you two and what is george really like?"

fred: "george has been helping me throughout my career and particularly in formula 2. when i joined the mercedes program, i was sort of lucky enough to be put in contact with george as he was in his formula 1 career, beginning of his career as well in formula 1. and he was definitely watching my races, supporting me, calling me after the weekends, 'you can do this, you can do that,' helping me to improve. we have done a very similar journey with similar teams as well in formula 3, formula 2 and obviously been working with mercedes. so we have a very similar path and i think it makes it quite easy for him to support me. but on a personal side, i have a lot of respect for george. he's a hard worker and he's just incredibly talented in the car. so, very impressive."
