Here she is! My gemsona, Koroit. I’ve been wanting to share pics of her for forever, but I’m having the hardest time figuring out a cohesive color palette. Her hair is ombre, most likely red to blonde.

The stone is predominantly dark orange with specks of purple, teal, and green. Suggestions?

So on top of everything we’re having to go through, trying to survive until my roommate gets on SSI, I get this bill from fedloan servicing and I 

I don’t HAVE 47.52 to spare. I can barely handle paying for food, right now, and I still have to pay $70 for phones that I can’t afford. If the student loan pulls ANYTHING out of my account I’ll overdraft, and that’s another $37 I DON’T have.

In total to avoid overdraft, and be able to pay bills, I need 117.52

I need help.

anyways its closing down at the end of this month and i haven’t been on for YEARS and just spent some time looking back and laughing at myself and old friends. i was embarrassingly obsessed with harry potter but w/e it made me draw things

It’s been a long hiatus, but I think things have finally settled again. I had a handful of things keeping me from drawing lately so here’s the update post for some of the problems previously mentioned.

#1 I know to keep things simple. I run into this problem every so often. I get impatient and want to create amazing pieces, when really I just need to work my way up. I need to just persevere, not overachieve.

#2 Good news: I got a job! Bad news: It takes up all my time and energy!

#4 I got a screen protector for my baby, but I applied it wrong and now I have all these air pockets covering it and it’s driving me crazy.

Life is good lately, so I’d like to get back into the swing of things. I’m going to start simple. If you’re still following, I really appreciate it. I hope to post fun things to brighten your day! Thanks for reading and stay tuned! ♥ ♥ ♥

I was really enjoying the 30ddc, but I’ve had a few bumps along the way lately.

bump #1: My idea of the minimum effort required for the challenge was too high. It does say “Drawing” not painting. I should have thought harder on that beforehand. I got really frustrated with my day 5 piece because I wanted it to look amazing. So I took a breather from it. I fully intend to start where I left off after bump #2 is sorted out.

bump #2: The NEET life is not for me. You read that right. I want a job. Job hunting takes time and energy, particularly away from art. I think once the dust settles (and I’ve landed a job) I’ll be back in good shape to art more.

bump #3: Personal problems hit me swift and hard. I was really down there for a good 2 weeks straight. I’ve worked things out since then, and things have gotten better. Bleh.

bump #4: I was extremely excited about my new cintiq, so I jumped right into using it. But I looked at other’s photos of their cintiqs and they are scratched to hell. This really scared the bejeezus out of me. I don’t want to wreck my new baby. So I’ve ordered a screen protecter for it and don’t want to use it until it’s safe and ready to be loved...roughly.
